Which SLC's are the smoothest ?

I've managed to ride 5 SLCs in 5 different countries. Traumatizer at Pleasureland (Southport, UK) is probably the smoothest of them. BTW the SLC at SF Holland is called El Condor and is the roughest of all 5, and Jubilee Odyssey at Fantasy Island (Ingoldmells, UK) is a custom-SLC so probably not a legitimate comparison. Haven't ridden the latter yet but will do so with Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain on June 29.
I say Great Nor'Easter is hte smoothest. Roughest goes to Mind Eraser at SFNE.

I have to agree with Vertigo and go with Blackout at Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka, Japan. Nice ride, but no Mad Cobra.:)

Runaway reptar is far from smooth. But I wouldnt call it an slc. The track and trains are totally different.

Hangman at WA isn't as smooth as it was a couple years' ago, but the softer OTSRs mean less pain for me....Serial Thriller was a smoother ride overall, but hurt worse. SFA/SFKK's, you suffer once for the credit and decide everyone else was right about them.....;)

Well, I've ridden a RollerSkater, and from my understanding the inverted version is just that - an inverted RollerSkater.

I didn't know such a slow and gentle ride could be that rough, you get thrown everywhere in it, something about the track joins I think, because they are bolted, not welded. Probably the plastic seats don't help either, and they aren't designed for people much older than 8 :p.

So what if the best coaster in Australia is a second hand Arrow?

I just don't ride SLCs anymore. I've been beat up too many times. Of the ones I've ridden, SFDL's was the smoothest, but it just doesn't do much for me any more. The footchoppers are great, but other than that, I just don't enjoy the ride much. I also avoid boomerangs like the plague, after SFWoA's made me nauseous for 2 hours after, since I smacked my head so hard. On the other hand, I quite enjoy Invertigos. Boomerangs are the only ride I just won't ride anymore, with SLCs following, but I'll ride an SLC if the lines are short, but I won't wait for one. Too many other good rides to waste my time in line for one.

My experience with SLC's is different than others. I've ridden two, SFA's and SFWoA's. I found that SFA's was the smoother of the two but eewww, that queue line was nasty when I went! Especially over the sides of that "bridge" I think it was, you were on!

Really, I think the ones manufactuered by Meisho and sold by Vekoma Asia are the best, they felt more preserved than all the American SLC. The only American SLC that ranks up to the ones in Japan for me would be Great Nor'Easter. Agent Johnson, I was wrong, you guys have kept that ride running very well.

I also like how the ones Meisho manufactuers come in all the cool color schemes like black track and blue support, purple track and blue supports, purple track and red supports, red track and black supports, and my favorite was lime green track with the blue supports.
