Which SLC's are the smoothest ?

I rode Serial Thriller at AW recently and it was ok, Put no that intense. Are there any better SLC's anywhere else ? DO they get any smoother as far as headbanging ?

Eraser at Six Flags Holland and Jubilee Odyssey at Fantasy Island are two very smooth Vekoma SLCs.

There's no Eraaser at Six Flags Holloand. Of the ones I have ridden, Black Out and Maltopia Twister are the smoothest, but out of all SLC(including those I haven't ridden), I would say either of the two new custom ones because they have a better track and train design.

Lake Compounce-So Fresh and So Clean Clean

Supposedly, the Wild Adventures SLC is pretty smooth.
I think Kong is a very smooth SLC. There are only a few bumpy spots, and even those aren't too bad. Kong's restraints are also very comfy and padded, and that makes the ride almost completely smooth. Plus it's just so pretty!

The SLC at SFH is actually called "El Condor" and it certainly ISN'T smooth, being the first ever built and allready in operation for ten years...

This season:
1 park
15 rides

Isn't this sort of an oxymoron?

The Beast and Night, They go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly

Top Gun at Wonderland. That ride is unlike the other SLC's I've ridden. It seemes a lot faster than other SLC's too (perhaps it is the unpainted rails).

The one at Wild Adventures Is the smoothest I have been on. And I ve been on 4 or 5.

I Rode Mind Eraser @ SFNE today and it didnt seem rough at all. My head hit the OTSR no more then 4 times!

Im the #1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!!These are my top 3 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Cyclone

Only ever rode 3 of these... smoothest to roughest of those were Great Nor'Easter (Morey's Piers), Mind Eraser (SFA), Mind Eraser (SFDL)
Likewise, I've also only ridden 3...smoothest by far out of them is Great Nor'Easter, roughest by far Mind Eraser (SFA). SFWoA's Serial Thriller falls right in the middle.

Hangman at Wild Adventures is the smoothest SLC you will ever ride. You can ride with your hands in your lap and you will not bang your head. Try that test on the others, and you will see who is smooth and who is rough.

Yep, when Kong was at Opryland (Hangman), it was pretty smooth.

I wouldn't say that this is an oxymoron, but more of a hypothetical or philosophical question. Which SLC's are the smoothest? The ones that aren't built, of course.

Here's a straight answer. I would say the junior SLCs, namely Runaway Reptar at PKI and it's twin up at PCWo are the smoothest.

Great Nor'Easter at MP and Hangman at WA are both very smooth. I've also noticed that the boomerangs at both those parks are very rideable.

I found Serial Thriller @ SFWoA to be very enjoyable, while T2 @ SFKK was not. I also enjoyed the boomerang at SFWoA.

"drop rides, not bombs."

Going completely against common thinking here, I find SLCs to be really fun rides. After about 200 rides on the Great Nor'easter since it was built in 1995, I still have yet to experience a lousy one- any seat, any weather. And I enjoyed Serial Thriller @ SFWoA a few weeks ago, so apparantly its not just Morey's version.

Here's what I think out of the ones I've been on from; best to worst (all based on front seat rides):

1. Serial Thriller @ SFWOA

2. Kong @ SFMW

3. Hangman @ Wild Adventures

4. Traumatizer@ Pleasureland Southport

5. Mind Eraser @ SFNE

6. Mind Eraser @ SFA

7. T2 @ SFKK - Eeeeeeevil
