Which Six Flags park is the "odd man out"?

Right on, Markieb. Considering the sheer number of coasters Six Flags parks have added in the last 5 years us enthusiasts sure have a lot more to choose from than we used to [and certainly a lot more than other chains added!].

I'm a HUGE fan of well-maintained wooden coasters, and good freindly staff, and I could give a rat's arse what the name plaque out in front of the park says...

The weird thing is, the SF parks that do the BEST job with wood....well, their guest relations have a bit further to go...;)

bill, always the "odd man out"...:)

They just can't put it all together in one park, can they?

Now really...of all people on this board you should really know the truth. Hum you own the board correct? And your home park is? Could it be Cedar Point?
Oh, and that makes me a drone? I develop this site with Microsoft products too, does that make me a loyal minion to Bill Gates?

I've said enough negative things about Cedar Point to warrant them taking me off of their press mailing list. Did you know that? I too call it like I see it. You see whatever you want to see. Get over it.

Markieb, newflash--you misused the word bias three times. It's "biased", not bias.

Intamin Fan, newsflash--

from Webster's online dictionary

"3 a : BENT, TENDENCY b : an inclination of temperament or outlook; especially : a personal and sometimes unreasoned judgment "

Good god, this has nothing to do with the topic. Quoting Jeff "Get over it".

I haven't been to every Six Flags park nor do I think they are all bad parks, but I think the park that stands out the most in all categories would be SFGAm followed by SFStl. I might be biased considering SFGAm is my home park, but it does seem to have for the most part decent operations, cleanliness, themeing in certain areas, and employee efficiency/attitude. But again, i'm a little biased as it is my home park. *** Edited 4/19/2005 11:37:12 PM UTC by Gamfan***

Markieb - he didn't mean you used the word wrong as defined, he meant you used the word "bias" when you should have used "biased."

Not: "...if you really dont think this board is VERY bias towards CF..."

Should be: "...if you really dont think this board is VERY biased towards CF..."

That being said, yes...a bit pedantic.

Yeah, but you're confusing useage.

One may have a bias and if he did we would call him biased.

If Jeff were sick you wouldn't say: "Jeff is disease"

Instead you'd say: "Jeff is diseased" or "Jeff has a disease"

Just clearing it up...continue. :)

SF doesn't need us beating them up...the shareholders do a much better job.

Hum I missed some then. I have never seen the shareholders do anything other than sell and run away in anger. How have the share holders "Beat them up"? *** Edited 4/19/2005 8:24:13 PM UTC by Markieb***

My vote for most ironic post of the year! Disprove your own argument much, buddy?

Jeff, Cedar Point's really petty enough to cut you from their press mailing list just because you uttered a couple of truths about them? Wow, cuts my impression of them down a couple of notches. That's pretty messed up to cut out someone who advertises you like crazy ...

Ahh so they finally got the eagle up & running? when I went on opening day they were still testing it.

Just testing my *context theory*...

Move along, nothing to see here...:)

My vote goes to Great Adventure. True, it RUNS like any other Six Flag's park (badly), but it is one of the nicest themed parks I have been to. And the lake and all the trees go a long way towards making it much nicer then other SF parks.

My vote would have gone to Six Flag's Belgium as I think it's the prettest SF park I have been to, but since they sold it I can't count it. But I would say that it and Holland were the true odd man outs in the chain.
