To narrow the scope to just the US, I would have to vote for Six Flags Great Escape. It doesn't have any Warner Brothers theming either.

You really should have checked the website before you posted that.
A day at the park is what you make it!
The *most unique* parks (of the ones I've visited) in the chain?
SFFT for its AMAZING theming, shows, and hospitality...Frontier City for its LACK of "all things corporate", and lest I get branded a fanboy, SFAW for its hostility toward their guests...indifference is one thing, that was something ELSE....

Now I'm actually missing living in the "middle of nowhere"! :)
13 Boomerang, 9 SLC, and 8 B-TR clones
I stand corrected. I didn't realize the kiddy rides had Looney Tunes theming. But there's still no adult Batman or Superman rides.

Aside from the plethora of little white bugs swarming us all day, we really had a great time at the park. The layout was nice and the park overall was pretty clean. It's one of the "nicest" I've been to. I don't say "best" because for ME, I need record breaking coasters. That's why I say SFGAdv. is the BEST but La Ronde is the nicest.
Really?? When were you there? Unfortunately, I've never had that experience. It's my home park and I've only seen La Ronde as a totaly pig-sty. Any time I've been, the gum-wall on La Monstre was vile and the queue for La Vampire was like a giant ash tray.

Which Six Flags park is unlike all the other Six Flags parks? Which Six Flags park has good landscaping, quality theming, efficient customer service, decent pricing, good assortment of flats and coasters, nice employees, and a guarentee for an overall good time? So, in other words, which Six Flags park(s) is the odd one out?
Does anyone else find this as an attack on Six Flags? Why would you say a park is unlike the other Six Flags parks because it is BETTER than them all if you werent attacking them?
I doubt it, but if you did you sure picked the wrong name. This board is full of Cedar Fair loyal patrons, that will fight you to death if you say anything bad about CF, or anything good about SF's.
It's find it curious at the least, your number 1 post is on a SF's debate, and then your name as well.
Are you trying to just stir the pot?
If not see above in bold.

Absolutely yes! Do a search on Six Flags and you will find hundreds of more attacks on SF's. Ocasionally something fair and un bias shows up about SF's but that is rare. You have to understand this is really a CF board, with a dab of SF thrown in for the fun of it. Take it all very light hearted.

The *deal* here is that if I had a crappy time and a park and that is INDICATIVE of an average day for an average guest, then that park is headed in the wrong direction...
If the park is *improving* over time, then that is an indication they're on the right track...over a 3-year period before SRM went away, I noticed SIGNIFICANT improvements at SFKK. Still wasn't close to being my favorite park in the chain, but they were taking steps to make their park BETTER...
And, in closing, just for FanofSixFlags, I'll quote myself, because I'm so *quotable*...;)

I'm a teensy bit offended by the notion that the GENERAL rule is that SF parks suck. Maybe I've visited at particularly opportune times, but I don't THINK that's the case.
That's a really stupid generalization. Especially considering that...

Now really...of all people on this board you should really know the truth. Hum you own the board correct? And your home park is? Could it be Cedar Point?
I wont spend too much time arguing this, it's not worth it, but if you really dont think this board is VERY bias towards CF I think your living in Disneyland, and not Ohio!
There is nothing wrong with being bias. Dont get all bent out of shape. It's your board, you can be bias all day long. I am just telling the SF fan not to expend too much engergy talking about SF. Their are a lot of other topics interesting here, but SF' vs CF is So So So overdone.

Hum I missed some then. I have never seen the shareholders do anything other than sell and run away in anger. How have the share holders "Beat them up"? *** Edited 4/19/2005 8:24:13 PM UTC by Markieb***
While that may be true I've never felt like my opinion has ever been sqaushed, and I've made it known on many occasions that I'm not a CP fan[atic]. Nice park, but nothing they added since Millie has been so incredible that I've wanted to travel from Los Angeles to visit the park, while there are a number of parks I return to yearly regardless of what they ad -- Knoebels being a good example.
mOOSH - will continue to call it like I see it, regardless of corporate affiliation.
