Which coasters are true to their names?

Ninja at SFOG because it feels like I am getting kicked by one a couple hundred times.......

It isnt a coaster, but acrophobia because for the people who have a fear of hights, it scares the crap out of them.

I was just about to type that. :)

Can someone please give me a job somewhere in Ohio?

Mean Streak is true to its name because for someone who has been on it for the first time, it is a massive wooden coaster with a mean ride, making the whole experience awesome.
Corkscrew! (all of them)

Ain't that the truth. The one at CP made it seem like a corkscrew was going through my back.

Mean ride my butt, When it was new it was mean, now its weaker then its older blue brother across the park.

1989, 9 years old bawling my eyes out because I didn't want to ride Magnum. I did anyway and look at me now. Why did ya make me do it Dave? ;)

Blue Streak was OK but I prefer the Comet at Hershey Park a lot more. Mean Streak was great because it was fast, long, and massive.

The Beast is obviously the most aptly named coaster of them all...it's a monstrous ride, it can tear you apart...and it can't be tamed!

Williamsgrove's Cyclone... because, even in its running condition, it looks like the pics of damage taken after the cyclone hit.

I usually do not expect a very objective opinion if a coaster or park is part of the "user name"

Sorry, but everyone has totally missed the obvious: Windjammer. Runner-up [non-coaster category]: Perilous Plunge.

Face-Off is pretty appropiate since your facing the people across from you (DUH!)

All boomerangs cuz you go out and then come back the way you came, and deja vu cuz thats what it is (hope you've noticed my consistancy)

Racer since you race other people

But almost all Stand-Up coaster names dont have anything to do with standing up. King Cobra (RIP) Riddlers Revenge, Shockwave, Chang (what does that mean anyway). The only one that somewhat makes sense is Mantis since praying mantis' stand up on their hind legs but thats stretching it

Phantom's Revenge! Although I loved the old Steel Phantom, PR is definitely having its revenge on that old, bumpy, rough ride.
Agreed, Mamoosh. Windjammer: The most ironically named coaster ever.

What was the deal with Windjammer? What is its story?

FlyCoasterGuy:

If I remember correctly, Chang, roughly translated, means "fear".

*Sigh* SFKK needs a new coaster..Maybe get rid of ol' hang-n-bang (T2) and replace it with something else...

How about the Texas Cyclone? It's in Texas and it looks like the Cyclone. :)

Outlane: then along those lines you gotta say Kumba as it is the word for ROAR in Kiswahilli. And I'll be damned, ROAR it does!

How about Leap the Dips?

Vipper, apparently Togo designed the coaster without enough speed throughout the course, and if the winds were "blowing" in the wrong direction (at ~5 mph), the train didn't have the momentum to complete the course....I got to SEE it, but it was already non-operational when I saw it. At this time, it has likely been recycled into the can of soda you're drinking...

Viper [and 'Gator] - if I recall correctly the problem with Windjammer stalling in a slight wind wasn't throughout the entire course but only on the flat curve following the lift and before the first drop. I could be wrong, tho [once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken].

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Dueling Dragons. For obvious reasons, its name fits.
