Which coasters are true to their names?

After reading the "Better names for Existing Coasters" thread I thought I would ask...

Which coaster is most true to its name?

my vote: Mind Eraser at SFWOA. I got my head serious banged on this one.

Superman: Ride of Steel because it is SUPER!

-----------------
Im the #1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!!These are my top 3 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Cyclone/B:TDK

Xcelerator is true, as is Log Jammer (the logs hit each other at the end of the ride due to all logs running and 1/2 of the station open), also Supreme Scream and all bommerangs.
Beast, it is a beast. Son of Beast, it's the son of the Beast, fails in comparison.

-----------------
(Former Signature replaced due to bad joke with accident) The Beast at night-Two peas in a pod?

Yes! the Beast & and also MF due to it's amazing force and its opening in the new millenia.

Actually the only Superman that makes since woulf be Ultimate Flight. A flying coaster themed to Superman, a name that makes total sense.

Batman:TR, The Top Guns, Raptor, and Talon all make a lot of sense.

Even Mantis fits well. A Mantis has those big old legs. Perfect for a coaster that is all legs.

Gemini is a great racing coaster name, Deja Vu is a pretty good name. Mouses generaly have perefect names, Mad Mouse, Wild Maus, Ricochet etc etc.

-----------------
1989, 9 years old, Bawling my eyes out because I didn't want to ride Magnum. I did anyway and now look at me. YOU CREATED A MONSTER DAVE!!! ;)

Yeah I totally agree maganumforce, Gemini was my constellation for 8th grade science last year..."Gemini-the Twins"

Medusa because the track twists and coils like the snakey hair of the legendary Greek monster.

Goliath
That thing is huge. After going through that double helix you'll be convinced it's a bully.

-------------
Coasters and Chronic
What a Combo!

Joker's Revenge at SFFT. That ride truly does get revenge on you...

SFGAm's Shockwave. It's like one big one with all the shaking and rattling.

-----------------
Take it up a notch, Mr. Operator! I wanna feel my brains in my feet!

Deja Vu

"I feel like I've ridden this before..."

-----------------
Six Flags, the only chain of parks that can manage to have stacking with a one train operation.

I would say Hypersonic, its an undefined work that seems to deal with speed when you hear it, and once you ride the ride you are able to really find out what traveling at Hypersonic Speeds is,

Volcano, you blast straight out of a volcano

Jokers Jinx, once you are one it, you know that you are jinxed once you pop out the other end of the tunnel into thgat wicked maze of insanity.

Two face its like it has two personalities (thus there a saying when people call a person two faced) the forward persona is calmer, and the backward persona is crazy.

Batwing you feel like you are actually flying in Batmans vehicle the actuall Batwing, the maneuvers and so forth.

Mind eraser again cause of all the head banging,

Roar, that ride really does roar through its track expecially through that section of the track that is covered overhead.

De Ja Vu, hense the way that you go through the ride again as if it were actually De Ja Vu

Great Bear certainly, that ride is massive and makes noise like a mighy bear.

Superman Ultimate Flight you soar like superman,

Wicked Twisted, its a wickedly twisted ride

Xcelerator of course, its xtreme excellerating power

Gravity Max, the ride lets gravity take you the the maxium, as you are held there in the verticle position then dropped and pulled by gravity

Oblivion, fall straight into what seems like oblivion, the small dark hole.

Expedition G Force, its all about the positive and negative G's on this ride. Force are uncontrollable

Just like Millennium force packs the force of the new millennium

Big Bad wolf. you prowl through the forest as if a hunting wolf.

and of course the Incredible hulk, you feel that rush as the transformation into the Hulk occurs, the your'll hurled at fast speeds through a monster of a ride.

Hercules, its powerful (err... more rough actually) and lets you know whos boss.

Skull Mountain, "Hey, I thought this was an adult coaster!"

I just realized that what I wrote does not make sense! LOL!

Traumatizer -- an SLC at Pleasureland. Perfect name.

Apollo's Chariot...As your leaving the station, the spill says "Thank You, and enjoy your voyage to the sun, on the wings of Apollo's Chariot."

Everyone seems to be missing the obvious.

X

The ride that was, let us hope it does not continue to be an X ride and returns to being the ride we put an X on the map to mark a true thrill-ride.

Nobody has said "Mean Streak"? That is one mean ride. It should have been called Assault Streak. Maybe - You're Gonna Take A Beating Streak.

(But I like the ride.)

What about Hellevator at SFKK?
