which coaster would you re theme

if you could re theme and re name a coaster what would would it be and what would you change

i would pick X I hate that name . i might call demension X and give it a space theme.

space mountain at disney world.  seems so boring now, well maybe that's partly because i passed the age of 4, but still
Yeah, X  has to be re-named and re-themed. It is Area 51 based in Baja Ridge (which also just opened a Panda Express across from Viper). They should theme it to a desert theme and they should have called it "Sidewinder."

Avalanche @ PKD. Here is an idea, have a snow covered mountain around it rather than a Volcano!

Ricochet: Bouncing to you in 2002, Only at King's Dominion!
I'd redo FoF.......I hate that movie in line. I have the whole thing memorized. But my favorite part is, "Please, Dick." He says it in a really annoying voice but its also funny. Other than that it gets on my nerves.

I don't know what I'd change it to....something better though. I think it'd be neat to have it as something weird for instense all the Busch Gardens names, Gwazi, Montu, Alpengeist, or Kumba.

It's his turn to feast, when you ride the Son of Beast.

Nitro at SFGAdv. It was placed in Movie Town! How strange. It should have been themed to the Congo.

Without a doubt, I would re-theme Hypersonic: XLC. As it is now, there really *is no theme*. However, this coaster was begging to be called "Top Gun". Think about it. ALL the other Paramont parks have a Top Gun coaster and the TA2K actually uses technology similar to launching aircraft off a carrier. What a blown opportunity!

Cedar Point doesn't have to re-theme Millennium Force, "they" have to theme it!

There is hardly no themeing to the ride. Themeing would be great on the ride. The only thing I see involved with themeing is the station.

Current Favorite Coasters:
1)Raging Bull 2)Millennium Force 3)Medusa (SFMW) 4)Vertical Velocity (SFGAm) 5)Dueling Dragons (Ice)

NitroExplodes, Nitro is technically in the Rapids section of the park, which happens to be right next to Movie Town, but I do agree that it could be re-themed...but NOT re-named.  But, in the words of Mark Davidson, who authored the review of Nitro in the March-April 2001 edition of ACE News:

"...the bare-bones station of corrugated, unpainted aluminum with ceiling fans as the only hint of decor have prompted those who may have come of age as enthusiasts during the Time-Warner days to ask, "where's the theming?"  The answer, of course, is that the budget was otherwise directed to an extra 2000 feet of roller coaster.  Anyone have a problem with that?  Good..."

NITRO kicks it into high gear...only at Six Flags Great Adventure!
Track Record: 28 and counting...

Krakken.Go on Dragons going undergroungd Front Ice(into the wall) and back Fire.Awesome ride....and go on krakken. No walls to hit..no fog..just concrete
Every single one of the batman the rides.  They tried soooo hard to get a really good themed ride, and what happens?  They undertheme, like just about everyother ride at Six Flags.  I'm not trying to bash six flags.  I think that they are great.

No, it is in the Movie Town. Look at a park map, it is number 51 located under the heading Movietown.  It should have been put back by log flume, to balance the crowds. Maybe next year, we'll see some coasters added to Frontier Adventures, to balance the crowds.

The Son of Beast.  It also has no theming.  A building covered in corrugated metal does not show theming.  Add a cool backwoods building like the Beast has, enclose the drop coming out of the station, and even cover the line up with some more backwoods theming.  If you can build all of the prelim for Flight of Fear, you can definitely theme for the Son.
Even though Superman Ultimate Escape has a decent station, I was hoping they would have built a Fortress of Solitude station like the one for S:TE at SFMM.

Batman Knight Flight, compared to the Batman: The Ride clones, pales compared to the theming of those B&M inverts.  They could have at least built a Gotham City Park or something or at least make the Bruce Wayne Foundation building look like a REAL building.

X Factor

No doubt, the MOST bizarre theming decision EVER - Medusa Mining Company in Wild West Section of SFGAdv...MEDUSA?  Mining?  I'm sorry, the connection really escapes me.  How about mythology land?  Poseidon, Medusa, Titan, Zeus, Apollo, Pegasus, Hercules...Maybe SF SHOULD hire me, but I'm sure they already pay people good money to come up with ingenious theming...j/k!

I love the Cornball Express, it is a great coaster. I realize that Indiana Beach has the whole Cornfield and crow advertising theme, but I don't feel entirely confident wearing a shirt that says CORNBALL on it

Your Guide to Indiana Beach

I would rename and retheme B:TR @ SFGAm.

I'd change the name to something along the lines of 'Hurricane' or 'The Next Wave' (homage to Tidal Wave :))

The Track would be light blue, and the rails would be dark blue.... with the supports also being a light sky blue.

Theme that to the Yankee Harbor/fishing area, or even as an expedition that went terribly wrong, and that would have been EXCELLENT.  It would have preserved some of the great Marriott-era theming, and it would have also fit in with the other rides in that area.

*thinks*

B:TR = Hurricane and

V2 = T2: The Next Wave

:)  That would be awesome :)

Tidal Wave- R.I.P End of 1991.
Why did SFoG have to steal our treasure... :(

Medusa definitally should have been themed to fit its name, its far enough from Frontier Adventures that it could be independently themed.  However, I wish that NITRO could have been called Superman: ___________. Because that theme would fit into that whole area of the park better, however it is nice to have a ride at SFGAdv. that has its own unique name even if the themeing is pretty lame.
