Which Coaster Needs New Trains Badly?!

My opinion goes to Mean Streak.   Anyone else?

Hersheypark's Wildcat.

Okay... perhaps not new trains, but at least modifications to the current ones... in particular the seat belts. They are SHORT. Of the coasters I have ridden, I have never seen any one turned away because of size (even B&M's have the "big boy" seat wich will accomidate most) except for Wildcat. People fit into the seat, the lap bar goes down, but the seat belts will not close... they come about an inch short. And some of the people are not even what I would consider "large".

Someone said that they do have a seat belt "extender" available, but in a visit to HP no one on the Wildcat crew seemed to know anything about that.

All the woodies at SFWOA.

Villain's need more padding,

Big Dipper needs less,

and RWB needs a little more than new cars.

That was me.  That's weird, because when I was there they offered them to people.  Maybe GandC can shed some light on this for us.

Wolf Bobs doesnt need new trains as much as new running gear. The trains are trailered and that causes the shuffleing.

They need to redo the trains as articulated, then they will corner better

PGA's Grizzly could benefit from new trains.  As a matter of fact, it would benefit from being completely rebuilt!  ;)  It's in need of some serious attention.

I would say SOB at PKI. It is a great ride but give the riders just a little more room.....
Any taller than 5'10" and you are crammed into the car.

Sfmm's Flashback, Revolution and Psyclone need new rolling stock in the worst way. Maybe for next rear's Coaster Con?!? I can only hope.

I'm gonna have to say any Premier ride that still has harnesses. Look at how much it helped the two Flight of Fear rides :o)

I would have to say Batman & Robin The Chiller but Robin already got the lap bars but its not running until next season and also next season the Batman side is getting them.

Other Premiers would be both Mr. Freezes even though they arent terribly rough and especially Jokers Jink and Poltrigeist.

Corkscrew at CP needs padding on that hard plastic that hurts your back. Demon at PGA needs new cars, the ones they have are really small, this coming from somebody that is just 5" 1'. Plus Demon's OTSR's don't stay up in unloading/loading. I was getting into my car and it slammed down on my arm. That hurt! Boomerang at SFMW needs a little padding on your spine, I cut my back on the hard plastic. I have bad luck with Arrow/Vekoma looping trains. LOL.

I agree about Wildcat's seatbelt, especially after having a friend of mine not be able to ride.

I wonder if all of Mean Streak's problems could be solved with simply new trains...

As for the Premier rides, they didn't actually change the trains, did they? I thought they just switched the restraints. Having been on Joker's Jinx then Flight Of Fear, it would seem they only need to hack off those OTSR's.

SFMM's Revolution needs new trains without OTSR badly. FOF's modifications may make this finally possible!
