Which Coaster has the Most Airtime?

definitely Superman: The Escape
Apparently I rode Steel Force on a rare day since I got air on the second and third hill on the way out and every hill on the return trip. I mostly rode it in the front car and noticed a lot less air in the back.

Maybe my legs were beat up so bad from riding coasters for two straight weeks but I found Steel Force to be a lot more "comfortable" air than all three SROS and Nitro's. I had to staple myself into SROS because the airtime was very painful if I didn't - and I rode it last year at Darien Lake and don't remember this trait of the ride...

Hurry up and open Delay-ja Vu!!
The coaster that has the most airtime of any that I have been on is S:ROS at SFNE. It was great airtime too. Getting your legs pressed into the lap bar. I would have to say that Magnum is the next one that gave me airtime like that.
Shivering Timbers - no doubt. There's 12 hills all with tremendous air. Even the double-up has air. The front has wonderful floater air and the back has intense ejector air. So take your pick.

My picks are Phantom's Revenge and Cornball Express. For its size, CE is a great ride in the back seat. I was out of my seat and into the lapbar on almost every single drop. It is very, very good.
The 3 B&M hypers. Airtime Heaven. Shivering Timbers and Viper are my picks for wooden coasters.

Thank you for challenging The Raging Bull. We hope you enjoy the rest of you're day here at Six Flags Great America.
For me, Texas Giant
Duration-wise, Shivering Timbers dominates wood coasters with no competition. The clocking I've heard is 27seconds of air in the front and 31 in the back. I've gotten 4 seconds on hill 4 alone.

I'm gonna confirm that in a couple of weeks.

Steel seems to be SD2K vs S:ROS @ SFNE.
Definetly Shivering Timbers!

Life is a roller coaster...ride it!
I just rode Shivering Timbers 2 days ago for the first time, and it blew all the other coasters that I have ridden away. It has by far the most airtime, especially in the back going over the first three hills, but all the hills have airtime.
ide have to say NITRO. this ride was all air. every seat provides some good airtime.
How do i post a forum topic
Little Laser at dorney

no seriously Batman The Chiller at great adventure has some but nitro rules
The second half of Ghostrider in the back seat is packed with airtime!

Life is like a coaster---You go up, down, turn-around, and upside-down...and then there's all that pressure on your head, too...
its at the bottom of the forum page medusafanatic
The Zippin Pippin has rolled out air time since 1923. The Steel Eel in Texas is also dishes out some serious air time. I don't know who suggested Millennium Force? That's all positive G's. And Shivering Timbers is the best!
I just looked at the Valleyfair website and they claim that the Wild Thing has the,"Longest low gravity section of any coaster in the world." I find that so very hard to believe.
GOliath in the back is the most airtime i've experienced. but I'm going to sfgadv in august and hope to ride nitro.
Out of the coasters I've ridden so far I would say that S:ROS at SFNE had the most "intense" airtime and Steel Force has the most "floating" airtime on a steel. The most airtime I've experienced on a woodie is Phoenix.

64 coasters ridden (so far)
21 are wood and 43 are steel
Nitro and Phoenix.
