right on!sfne guy,I couldn't agree more. the air time that you get on s:ros is amazing at least on sfa's version, that third hill is air time city especially in the front seat, any seat behind car four is just dead air however.
I've been on both the Phoenix and Shivering Timbers, and would have to pick the Phoenix. Having said that, the most INSANE air I've ever experienced is on the (SBNO) Screechin' Eagle - has anyone else on here had that pleasure?
Woodies:
The front car of Phoenix in the ejector air, makes Acers put their hands down class.
The back car of Hershey's Wildcat in the long duration of single air event.
Honorable mentions to Vilain, Raven, and Roar.

Steel:
SROS (whichever one you prefer) in the back couple cars.
Magnum is also pretty good.

Note: I haven't riden Nitro or Shivering Timbers.
Today, I rode Big Dipper "SFWoA" and the airtime was UNREAL! Now I know the airtime is great, especially in seat 1-3, my favorite, but 1-2 gave AWSOME, I mean AWSOME airtime! Next time you visit SFWoA check out the first three seats on Big Dipper, you will NOT be sad! I also find good air on The Villain, THE COMET! at Hersey, Jack Rabbit, and The Beastie! But for steel coasters, Desperado blows away anything with its three massive bunny hops! There is so much airtime on these hops, I, I, honestly cannot describe them!

I'm sorry, but I have to say that NITRO definitely kicks the airtime crap out of almost every other coaster...even in the front seat the air is incredible.

As for wood, I haven't ridden a great deal of wood airtime coasters, but just by *looking* at Shivering Timbers my jaw dropped into my basement, so my vote goes for the Michigan wonder.

NITRO kicks it into high gear...only at Six Flags Great Adventure!

My other car is a rollercoaster...
Hello?! How about the Jackrabbit at KW. Forget PR. Jackrabbit's double-dip has so much airtime I'm surprised it's considered safe to ride! Phantom's Revenge's double-dip is great too, but when you're wearing only a seatbelt and not a lapbar, it makes a world of difference!

I'd say the coaster with the most consistent airtime, from beginning to end, would have to be Shivering Timbers. Each and every one of those hills floats you right over the top and down the other side.

PCW needs something taller than a boomerang
BKF and MF
A ride that has serious airtime is, I think, the blue streak at CP. it's not the biggest or the badest, but it is a great classic woodie with a crapload of airtime!!
Stasticially doesn't Apollo's Chariot have the most?

Shivering Timbers, Phantoms Revenge.
Steel Dragon's 7 consecutive bunny hops offer great air-time

definitely Shivering Timbers looks like it has a lot, Superman @ SFDL delievers a lot of wicked airtime especially from back seat. also, Superman: The Escape has 6 seconds of it so that qualifies. Phantom's Revenge from reading sounds like it does so i cant wait for KennyKon next saturday.

Nitro at SFGAdv
Here's my thoughts on some people's suggestions - and yes, I have ridden them.

S:ROS - simply the best.
NITRO - also very good.
AC - doesn't compare to Nitro.
PR - just ride S:ROS and you'll forget the Phantom
Magnum - nice air, but alittle too rough
Steel Force - what air?

as for wood

PHOENIX - oh my god!
JACK RABBIT - massive airtime on double dip but none elsewhere

Haven't done Shivering Timers, or Raven, but they won't evade me for long!

Also good: Riverside Cyclone (back seat), GASM and Georgia Cyclone @ SFOG, Grand National @ BPB, Villian and Big Dipper @ SFWOA
