Where will Troinka and Chaos be relocated??????

Oh yeah, that makes a whole lot of sense. Paint it and it will be smoother.

I don't know why I bother to respond to these sometimes.

IF Chaos and Troika are both moved to the Wicked Twister midway, I can't see how the both of them would fit. I'm hoping Schwabinchen stays and is just moved elsewhere.

What's the status of Peanut's Playground? Will it remain or will parts of it begin to be dismantled to make way for other attractions? It seems the area where the big fake tree is/was doesn't see much action anymore.

I say put Troika and Chaos on Frontier Trail, there is tons of room.

For some odd reason I like Mean Streak.

Will they paint Mantis a different color or will the keep the Yellow and Purple?

You want to know what Millenium Force is on a scale from 1-10? Oh, that's easy. A bajillion out of ten.

Well, I wouldn't say "tons of room"......

Chaos might go well towards the front of the park (say, by Wicked Twister); alternatively, it could replace the Matterhorn, which is a bit of an eyesore. I thought Troika looked fine where it was. This is one of the rides which has largely gone unchanged in recent years, too. It will seem weird if it is relocated. But screw it, if Cedar Point's getting another rollercoaster I don't care where they put it.

I think Cedar Point has been rather lackluster in its flat ride department over recent years.

I would hope that Schwabichen stays. It would be great if CP moved one of the flats over by WT and keep one by corkscrew. It both were moved over by WT then the only flats by corkscrew would be Himalaya and WW.

What's WW? (I'll probably feel dumb when you say it)

I know I am crazy, but I love Gemini. I never tire of it and I ride is thousands of times every year. Its probably my favorite coaster at CP that is under 200 ft.

I have sworn to never ride Mean Streak again, but I always get back on at every visit to CP and it usually gives me a headache. I'm going back in October with my daughter who has up to this point only ridden Gemini Jr.; that was 4 years ago. Shes 4' 2" now and I'm going to have to insist that she rides every coaster that she is allowed to ride, including Mean Streak. I swear to not sit in the back seat this time.

Why do people continue to use several question marks when posting a topic? Does it make it more of a question? Do you do this when you write normally?

Even more interesting, will kRaXLeRidAh ever figure out that as long as he keeps quoting entire posts needlessly that his posts will continue to be deleted?

Will Schwabinchen remain on the midway?

So many questions...

That's a pretty common argument in favor of many coasters, MillenniumXL_200.

The flip side argument is that if a coaster is good to begin with you won't have to figure out "how to ride it".

Cedar Point won't remove a coaster, don't get you hopes up. Mean Streak is still a fun ride and Mantis has some of the longest lines in the park. Plus, I still insist that Mean Streak is one of the most visually pleasing amusement park structures anywhere and makes for a hell of a visual for first time visitors circling the pennisula to get to the resorts. We've had first timers with us twice and got that "oh my god" reaction both times. It's funny.

Long lines don't always mean high poplularity. It could mean low capacity. I think we've found the problem there! ;)

Not true. I know how to ride it. But the constant and intense positive G forces causes the blood to pool in your legs, and for whatever reason, it causes my shins to hurt severely. I almost couldn't walk after one of the rides, and I was praying for the ride to end SOON before it was even half over I was in so much pain. I've only ever had one (of a dozen) rides that wasn't *painful*, and that one was just "nothing special". It's definitely my least favorite roller-coaster, ever. Right up there with "Flight of Fear" when it still had the OTRS. Maybe I should point out I'm pretty tall (6'4") if that makes any difference.

What is a Troinka? Is it a cross between a Huss ride and a Tonka? ;)

Ride of Steel, you made the stupidest post ever. I swear, if you would have any bit of common sense, you would not have posted what you did. First, before all hell breaks loose and you deem half the coasters at CP not worthy of standing, why don't you look at the list of rides given each year. Mantis and Mean Streak are among the top ones (not the top, but up there). Why would they get rid of Mantis when there is consistantly a 45 minute wait for it, or more at times? yeah, people must really hate that. As for Mean Streak, its problem is more of its location. Not many rides get filled up down in Frontiertown, and its line seems to have actually gotten longer this year as opposed to the last couple. By the way, remember ride capacity as well. Just because it has a fifteen minute wait doesn't mean it has any less people than a smaller capacity ride with a thirty minute wait. CP is not going to get rid of multi-million dollar investments a few years after they're built. Oh yeah, and for Mantis, (other than MF and Raptor) what lines are longer than it in the park?

I think you are wrong my friend... Mean Streak, or any ride for that matter, would get plenty of people in its line if it were a top-notch coaster, but it isn't. Not anymore. Not by a long shot. The argument for Mantis is somewhat nonsensical as well. The main reason Mantis has such incredibly long lines is capacity. Yes, it is an enjoyable ride. At least for me! That said, capacity is the issue, first and foremost. We all know that standups (Riddlers Revenge, et al) have terrible wait times. People will stand in line for these rides, yes, but not because the ride is so darn spectacular. It is because they might not have ridden it, or might be like you, and love it. That's fine, but you know as well as I that the capacity is terrible. If a line is the only sign of a rides popularity, then Gemini must stink, because there is never any line when I am there....

Millenium Force Maniac: The only thing stupid is you telling people what they post is stupid. If you disagree fine, but don't insult people. No one gets to be a bigger jerk than me around here. Important safety tip.

I myself do not understand everyone's beef with Mantis. It was the first stand-up coaster I had ever ridden and I found it to be smooth as glass. I didn't feel any pressure on my legs and I was able to walk fine afterwards. The ride is limited capacity wise because it only runs 2 trains. However, I seriously doubt that a 3rd train would make all of the difference. The day I was there, a 3rd train would have been nice but my wait still would have been at least 45 minutes.

There's your answer, Jeff...many questions require the use of many question marks! :)

My question is, why do I keep getting logged out of CoasterBuzz and GTTP when I haven't changed anything on the browser...
