Where have your journey's taken you in 2004?

Just wondering what parks and how many you have been to this year. Also if you had to choose, what park did you have the best time at? So far we have been to 16 different parks. I blame this on that my daughter finally hit the 48" mark and my son hit 52". I can't wait for them to hit the 54" mark.

March- California's Adventure - Disneyland - SFMM - KBF - Legoland

April- SFStL

May- SfGAm (10 times though 04' so far)

June- CP - Michigan's Adventure

July- Dorney Park - Hershey - Knoebels - Kennywood - Fun Spot (Angola IN) - Indiana Beach - Santa's Village (IL)

I would have to say that the funnest day was at SFMM (yes i did say that), just for the simple reason was getting my 6 yr old daughter on X first thing in the morning and it being her first major coaster with those type of elements. Next was CP and my son getting on Wicked Twister and TTD and the look on his face during the ascent and him putting his hands up on the way down.

The Golden Rule - Try it once and if you don't like you don't have to go on again!
April - Opening day of Thunderhead at DW

Beginning of May - SFKK

End of May/Beginning of June - SFGAm, Mt. O, Lil' A, MiA, IB

June - BeastBuzz, HW

July - NVAP, Beech Bend

LAbor Day weekend I'll be making a trek to SFNO, WV, MSAP, and WA.

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
Let's see here, really this coaster year started for me big time in :

December 03 was IOA, BGT, SWF, and Old Town

--2004--

March was Winter Coaster Solstice (Solace) at KBF, Adventure City, SFMM, Belmont Park, and Scandia.

April was BGW, PKD, and SFA

June was Dorney, Hershey, Knoebels, and SFNE (we drove to Lake Compounce, but it didn't open for daily operation til the next day :() and SFGrAdv

July was Indiana Beach, SFGAm, MiA, CP, and PKI

August so far has just been Dollywood..

Potential Superhero Celebration, a definite trip to CMania and a 50/50 chance at PPP and it's been a helluva year.

***Don't forget to throw in 5 trips to PCarowinds and 4 trips to SFoG (home parks scattered throughout the year)***

Also, because of how awesome Greg Legowski is, I know that I've had 340 total laps on coasters in 2004.

April: SFStL

May: PKI - Hershey - Dorney - SFNE - Knoebels - Kennywood

June: BeastBuzz

July: Indiana Beach

August: Holiday World

September/October: SFStL? - SFGAm? - SFKK?

I can undisputedly say that I had the best time at Knoebels. The people were great. The lines were short. The rides were awesome. The food was delicious.

April: Week in England (included Alton Towers, BPB and South Pier)

late June: Seabreeze

in 8 days: Great Escape

Labor Day Weekend (hopefully, but likely): Hershey

Any traditional park fan absolutely MUST get to Blackpool someday; it's that simple.

Schwarzkopf shuttle loops...The most possible fun in 36 seconds.

All of my big trips happened last month for this year. We went to HW and SFKK at the beginning of the month, and finished off the month at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. But because of the weather down in Virginia we had to postpone going to PKD until next year. Man, I'm out of vacation time already, I can't even go to the announcement at PKI next week!

...Unless I get to feeling a little sick next Wednesday night...ok...reality Chad.

On Labor Day weekend were planning on hitting Geauga Lake...prayerfully!

I also started in Dec in FL by going to IOA, USO, MGM, BGT, Epcot, and Old Town.

This spring and summer I have been to Worlds of Fun, Adventureland, Valleyfair! & Camp Snoopy MoA (home parks), Mt Olympus, Timber Falls, Holiday World, Six Flags: St Louis, Indiana Beach, Dollywood, and PKI for Beastbuzz.

Edit: I probably would have made more trips by now, but I seem to be stuck going back to Timber Falls for some reason. *** Edited 8/7/2004 5:43:21 PM UTC by RavenTTD***

This year has been pitiful, due to a busy work schedule. To think last year we pretty much took the summer off.

Geauga Lake a few trips including opening day. Most trips were just to the water park, still my least fav park.

Conneaut Lake: only twice thus far.

Waldameer: unfortunatly before Steel Dragon opened.

Kennywood: once so far, planning at least one more visit. I'm more impressed by this park each time I visit.

PKI: 7/24 & 7/25, my first visit since '86 or '87 when I was to short to ride any coasters.

So far we have to hit CP a few times and plan on KW at least one more time. Hope next year will be more productive.

june: dollywood and conneaut lake...
not much, busy summer...
no long trips this year due to a family trip to hawaii ... no coasters there :-(

but locals to SFA, SFGAdv and Moreys

may hit Hershey and SFA and SFGadv and clementon park before season end *** Edited 8/7/2004 6:46:25 PM UTC by dragonoffrost***

April - PKI

May - CP, PKI, Geauga Lake, SFGAM, Indiana Beach

June - CP, PKI, Dollywood

July - CP, Stricker's

August - Holiday World, SFSTL, CP *** Edited 8/7/2004 7:15:13 PM UTC by DragonRider***

May: Geauga Lake......SFNE

June: PKI....SFA

July: SFGAM...CP.....SFNO

August: Wyandot Lake...

September: SFGAdv

October: CP(Hallow weekends)

December: Florida: Disney Parks and Universal parks, plus Sea world.

And that will end 2004 for me! *** Edited 8/7/2004 7:18:59 PM UTC by Alizabeth***

"I wish I was Barbie, the B**** has everything!
-Alizabeth-

June - Jenkinson's Boardwalk, Casino Pier, Six Flags Great Adventure, Rye Playland

I haven't made it to Geauga Lake quite like I have in the past but I made it to other parks, many of which were new to me. I still wish I would have made it to Holiday World.

Wow, must be nice to hit 39 parks and have another 7 planned. Us poor working folks don't have that much vacation time (or money for that matter!).

May - CP and Geauga Lake opening days

June - MiA, Holiday World and PKI

July - CP

I'm hoping for a trip to CP at the end of August, but will definitely hit CP a couple more times this fall.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

This year has been good to me.

May-Yearly trip to Carowinds (and 2 more credits to my cout;)).

August-So far I've hit PKI for the first time in 10 years, and SFKK for the first time ever.

A week from Tuesday I'll be @ CP for the first time ever (first time there, and first time on The Beast, now I'm a real enthusiast), and hopefully the day after,I'll be @ Geauga.

I'm planning a big trip for PPP in Oct. as well, and Probably visiting family(oh, and coasters...) in Fla. in December/January.
