You know, to me RCT1 and 2 were all ABOUT the scenarios. I'm just not the type to sit down and tinker around in the sandbox, I need a goal in mind. My parks don't necessarily look as cool as, say, Gonchar's, but to me that's not the goal of the game. So, the more I read commentary on this product, the less likely I am to get it. How sad is that?
That is exactly how I feel, Greg. I had anticipated this game for so long, but I no longer have any desire to buy it until it is absolutely, completely fixed. It's very dissapointing, I wanted to play it, but it's not worth the aggravation that all these other people are putting up with.
To me, also, the game was never fun in sandbox mode, except to try out things to apply to scenarios. I play for the scenarios. I want a goal, and I want to accomplish it and move on. Unless I can do that and have fun, the game is useless to me.
Hi
Are they going to fix the damn problems with Nvidia problems. I HATE how ATI tries to screw over Nvidia users. I have an Nvidia Geforce 3 card and it has been running horribly even with the latest drivers.

I'm not sure if I should be impressed or frightened... that's a lot to read.
Suprisingly, it only took me about 30min. to write that, and everything just came off the top of my head:).
I guess when I don't have alot of money to spend on stuff, and feel like I've been ripped off, I really open my mouth...
Actually, I didn't even realize it was as long as it was until I posted it. Guess I was just fired up.
:)
Edit: I just recieved 2 replies from Atari, one was an out of office reply, the other an actual reply that said:
I replied that the game was released in the states on Oct. 26, and directed him to the Atari Forums. I don't even think the company knows what is going on... *** Edited 11/3/2004 9:04:27 AM UTC by TeknoScorpion***
How have you managed to obtain a copy of Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 when the game isn't even released until this Friday the 5th November?

I've gotten mostly positive responses from the Atari Forums. I hope I get more mail today from Atari and Frontier. That was the full message I got from someone by the name of Simon up there.

The replies in the forum thread linked, however, are frustrating. "Learn how to code your own game" why don't ya? Well, that may be a valid thing to say had RCT3 actually been the game that was advertised.

Dont think this one has been mentioned yet. On Go karts riders will get in karts but the ride never starts if you have more than 2 (yes, two) karts on the track.Dont know if anyone else has encountered this problem.
I haven't seen that. Does this happen all the time for you? Or only sometimes? Because they work for me. I'm wondering...Are any of the carts empty? The ride won't start until each one has been filled. Maybe you already know that. Just a thought.
