Maybe they'll get 2 wild mouses, it doesn't have to be something huge, i'd rather see something there that has airtime instead of another record breaker.

Besides Magnum and Blue Streak sit in the front seat of Corksrew for some awesome airtime and don't forget Gemini as well. Don't forget about 51 on MF, there is plenty of airtime there.
The announcement won't come for a while still on what ever they are doing for next year. Remember that they had no choice but to announce MF early because track was already starting to pile up in places that we would look! Jeff and I had the pics on our sites two weeks before the ride was announced.

Who cares if they don't get anything next year! They have Millennium Force and Magnum, the two best damn rides ever built! Why can't anyone be satisfied with that? I can't possibly see why it would be fumny if they didn't get anything. If they get a semi large attraction next year(Ripcord) or overhauled Mean Streak, I would be a happy camper. Luckily, the GP has an unquenchable appetite for more, more, more, so I wouldn't be suprised if C did get something next year. Either way, it is a win win situation for us!

MF's announcement was on July 22, 1999. I don't know when Just Coasting was there, but I guess he was there a month early :).
Scanz, I know that many people drink alcohol before the age of 21...which obviously works for European countries, but I don't know if is your place to condone under age drinking. Many of my fellow classmates drink, but I don't deem it cool nor like the taste of beer. So I guess I'll just stay away from it.
Anyway...back on to the discussion.
Don't expect 2 coasters. I'm not even sure if they will get a new one this year. I hope they will, but you have to remember that anything CP plans to install in already agreed upon 2 years in advance...so if they planned not to build a new coaster 2 years ago, we won't see one.
Iggy, they are plenty of coasters with airtime at Cedar Point, even if isn't copius amounts of airtime. Blue Streak, Magnum, Gemini, Corkscrew, and MF come to mind.
if they get anything it's fairly obvious what it might be. just think, what does cedar point excel at, hypers, and they have a good wooden coaster already. what do they lack a good sit down looper, like kumba, dragon kahn, or maybe even a floorless like kraken. i just think that if they get anythig it will be like a floorless or sit down looper or somthing along those lines. but then agian they may just go crazy and get some kinda cci coaster like ghostrider.

A huge sling shot type ride... the new S&S prototype... that was rumored to go in at Six Flags Magic Mountains... It will be open by the end of the month... concrete foundation are be poured(right now) and vertical construction should start later this week.
