What's up with the login?

I've tried logging in several times to contribute a news item. I successfully log in, but when I click on "contribute news item" it asks me to log in! What's going on???!?!?!! :(

Your browser must be able to accept cookies. If this page or any other lacks an e-mail and password filled in for you, you have a cookie problem. Enable cookies, and if that doesn't work, nuke your cookies and try logging in again.
