Whats up with MF lately?

James K, what made the ride so much better on Friday than any of the other times you rode it?

It ran 3 trains today :) . At one time Red had to get a wheel change or something but that was it.

Ride still seems slow to me though but not too bad, it should pick up. I rode in yellow and it ran better than blue or red have all year, a little less sloppy. I sat in the front of car 8th and comming off the first overbank the front of the car felt like it shook a little, but nothing very noticeable. I would rank todays ride (#349) as my 298th best ride on Millennium Force

That really is unfortunate that the debated best roller coaster in the world is having problems. I hope they get it fixed soon. This has got to be devastating for CP.

It's not that bad really. There was a reason it's nickname opening year was Maintainence force. It has been very cold this spring around here so far. that coupled with the new wheels and some simple software problems are causing the MINOR problems. Expect things to be in full swing by memorial day.

I know they are putting their best effort in. There are mechanics who live on the thing so far. Today things went very smooth.

It was stuck once 17th and once the 18th. Still a great ride for me!!

I was at the park Saturday night, and although I did not ride MF, I did see it in action. While walking over by Magnum, I saw it crest the third hill with more speed than I have seen so far this year (and definitely more speed than my single ride this year a week ago). Maybe our old MF is on the comeback.
