Whats the skinny on Drachen Fire?

What is the latest news with Drachen Fire?
It's SBNO. Has been for a couple years, will be for a while longer.

7 Days left.
Posts on this site and on URC say that the ride has been taken off the auction block. I've read (not confirmed) that Morgan is looking at it, possibly retracking it like PR. After OL:FOF got a new lease on life (Proof of Life after Death?), I think headbangers throughout the land are getting at least another look. With new track and/or new trains, NO coasters need be destroyed anymore...

Save the fire. One great ride, should be done with out the OTSR's
please say they aren't looking at the possibility of turning drachen fire into a hyper coaster. that ride is one of the finest arrow multi- loopers ever built.if they can re-open it I would love to see it run in it's original layout.with apollo's chairiot up and running I doubt that they will turn it into a hyper coaster.new trains would be nice if thats what it takes to get it running though.does morgan make looping style trains?
I know for a fact that Arrow was waiting to see how successful Phantom's Revenge would turn out before they would let Morgan do anything with Drachen Fire.

Now that we all know how much of a hit PR is, I think Drachen Fire might see some action pretty soon. I'm guessing Morgan would retrack Drachen Fire, but they haven't worked with looping coasters have they?
I really wish BGW could get a woodie.

Why would arrow have anything to do with it. The coaster doesnt belong to them, it belongs to BGW.
Once a coaster is built, it belongs to the park...not the company.

I heard that a Six Flags park bought it and would move the coaster to the SF park that bought it.

Yeah, sorry that was a typo. I meant to say that BGW was waiting to see how successful PR was before they would do anything with Drachen Fire. My bad.

The bald egale nest rumor is true, but i don't think that that's the only reason it's closed.

I dance like a special ed. kid that was given a sparkler.
i heard that they sold it along time ago
there is a nest

True of all great coasters of the past and present, and future
it's a ride you'll remember for the rest of your lifeand probably will want to ride again.
I'm kind of new here, I thought it was Busch Gardens Tampa and Busch Gardens Virginia. Why do you use BGW when it seems it should be BGV? What do you use for Busch Gardens Tampa?

Thanks for your help!
Busch Gardens Tampa is BGT and its not Busch Garedns Virgina but Busch Gardens Williamsburg thats why its BGW.

Steel Phantom was a looper before they retracked it. By the looks of your name i would think you knew that.
Yes, but Kennywood Insider was probably referring to Morgan simply retracking Drachen Fire and keeping the looping layout, unlike Steel Phantom where they just got rid of the loops.

Steuks!!
Most talk I have heard here in Williamsburg hints at simply switching trains for the 2002 season. I don't know the reliability of all the sources, but I have heard that BGW has already contracted for the new trains and is just waiting for the off-season for the eagles to move and begin testing for next year. I hope it is true.
If you can make a smooth ride out of a Premier launched like FOF simply by putting in a better restraint system, surely DF can keep it's inversions!
