And for those who like to get even more technical, notice that the "flatness" as defined above is not dependant on speed whereas the vertical force is. So yes, you can get the same shape hill to provide as much or as little air as your want, depending on the speed.

All Avalanche baby!! That thing had me out of my seat all 55 times I rode it that day. Amazing every time.
i'm not sure what to put here..
NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.
The correct anwer is: any of the return leg hills on Knoebels' Phoenix as seen on the far right side of this picture...

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.
Cheetah has this little hill after the first drop that floats ya, Then stands ya. It was one of the most surprising and enjoyable airtime segements of my coaster riding life.
Chuck
Cheetah hill - the small hill in the foreground is directly after the first drop. (not necessarily a 'flat' hill, but since this has mutated into an airtime thread, why not?)
And speaking of all time favortie airtime hills...the third hill on S:ROS at SFA (although oddly I didn't notice it as much at SFDL) is the single best airtime hill I've ever ridden. Hard ejector followed by a long float that makes you wait an eternity for your butt to return to the seat. Still one of the only single hills I've ever felt both ejector and floater air on and easily the one that does both combined far better than any other. (but it's not even close to flat :) )
I like this view a little better, It shows how small it is compared to the hills prior and after. just a full speed float that I wish would run like it did and should.

Those of you who have ridden it know. That last mini hop before the big hop into the brake run is stunning. It's the perfect amount of floater air. The rest of the ride is fantastic, too. Just look at these hills:
After the double drop and right before the turn around is this little hill that can't be five feat tall. In the back seat it was standing me and my brother, Richocheting us off each other and then sitting us down.
Truelly one of the greats :)

"dude, where's the hill" :)
(I guess it's hidden in the pass through of the wooden structure ahead)
Looks like the boss takes the cake in terms of flat airtime.
That pick shows the first drop into the structure of boss, There is a second drop then a slight turn to a bunnyhop before climbing into the first turn around. That bunnyhop is insane.

This hill http://www.rcdb.com/ig161.htm?picture=2 , hill 1 & 2 had me all over my seat. :)
Another great surprise was Viper and SFGAm, wow... Was that an amazing ride. The double down and the hill after the double down were almost as good as Cyclops. http://www.rcdb.com/ig10.htm?picture=8 the double down is on the right side of the picture.
I went on that ride after a 3 hour rain, pure bliss.... :)
i'm not sure what to put here..
