What's going on with the Forum pages??

I don't like the new colours as much as the old ones, but I'll live with it :)
Jeff, when are you going to release this new feature?

Though I can see this thread closing up in a hurry, I must put in my $.02 that my first thought when I saw the new forum color schme was, "Thank goodness, they're easier to read now!" I don't seem to recall, but isn't the shading of every other topic on the topics list a new feature?

Might I suggest the next feature be a "Email reply to poster", for when you want to reply, but don't want to include the whole list.

I do aggree, these colors do hurt my eyes a little bit, and I'm sitting about four feet away from my computer so it doesn't hurt.

But, if it does stay like this, oh well, It's not gonna stop me from coming here!:)

I kind of thought that black and white meant no color, but different strokes I guess.

Anyway... if testing goes OK, perhaps I'll roll out the new site tomorrow. And it's features, with an "s."

Of course, now I'm seeing white text on a black background, with all the links showing up in aquamarine...Wait a minute, it always looks like this when I read CoasterBuzz (or any other website, for that matter) from home... :)

(if you have no idea what I am talking about, you've probably never surfed the Web with LYNX)

I think some people have been used to staring at that cream color too long. It's the same background/Text color over at CP Place, and that dose not hurt my eyes, but over here it somewhat dose. Weird. I guess it will take time to get used too. I like it.

I don't have much of a problem with the new colors. My site is black on white and I'm staring at it constantly while updating, I guess I'm used to it. I haven't used Lynx in a few weeks, I'm starting to miss it.

I have no problem with the the new look. I was surprised to see this layout. I thought I had a wrong link then found out there wasn't any thing wrong with it. I can get used to this easily. Looking good, Jeff.:)

Wait!! Isn't this a democracy? Don't we get to vote on the screen colors??!! ;)

When you own part of this site it will become a democracy. Colors Colors Colors, doesn't matter. THese colors make the site look a lot more plain. But whatever Jeff wants I guess.

Well, I like it--clean, sharp, easy to read. Thanks, Jeff!
Looking awesome Jeff. That's much better with dark green and gray. I've already forgotten what the forums look like with cream!!! That color always makes me feel like blowing my nose. ;-) (JK. Just putting it behind me.)

Everyone, put your hands together for Jeff. He's da man. I can't imagine the work put into keeping this site of nearly 2,600 members intact. He's doing it for everyone and if he quits, it's the end of the world as we know it! Why else would he call us 'selfish bastards'? BTW Jeff was joking of course when he wrote that.

Hip, Hip...

I like it. looks good. I am just thankful for the time and effort that Jeff puts into this site. Who are we to critize his work. Can't wait to see the what the new features are.

FYI: black on yellow (eg. street signs) is considered the easiest color comibination to read, with white on black being second easiest.

I like these colors too Jeff, however they will take a little getting used to after 1 year with the other ones. I can't wait to see what these new features are.

That's just it... if you've been with the site since it opened, you've gotta be tired of the look.

You'll get your new look soon, along with tools to make you a happy enthusiast. :)
