I saw this on another site, and thought it might be worth it to post it here. And I'm also curious. So what's going to be (or what you want to be) the first coaster you ride in the 2013 season? Doesn't have to be your favorite, either.

Well, my desire would be to head north to ride Bizarro since I still haven't ridden it. Realistically, it's gonna most likely be Talon at Dorney since I live in spitting distance from the park.

I rode intimidator.
Mine was Cloud Bouncer (kid's teacup type things) a solid month ago. I've been to SFoT three times this season so far and haven't ridden a coaster, nor have I ridden an adult ride, save the regular tea cups. So far I have 2 trips on cloud bouncer, one on the antique cars, one on the tea cups, and one on the rock n' tug...and I've probably had more fun than I would have had marathoning NTG (not that I would mind a lap or two every now and then).

Ha, I see you found it. I just thought it'd be worthwhile to post it here.
If I go to any park it will be Cedar Point. It depends on what the lines are like. I will not be buying a fastlane plus pass. So, if I can get on gatekeeper first thing when I get there, I will do that. But, if the line is long, I will wait until later in the day. If I get a season pass, I may go for a couple days. Hope to ride Gatekeeper at least once. But, with all the stuff that is going on with Cedar Point, I may skip it and go to Great America instead.
I didn't do it! I swear!!

It's actually one of my favorite sites besides this one. Glad to see the love, and you beat me to posting this topic! Lol

We just opened our season last week on our west coast vacation. Legoland, Giant Dipper and Knotts. All new to our son, and a few new credits for me at LL (Dragon and Coastersaurus) and KBF. (Pony and Sidewinder)
As for the homepark season, well, I promised CP opening day and he said he doesn't care how long the line for Gatekeeper is, so...
As a college student, I'm broke as crap. Therefore, this summer, I will only expect to be able to go to Darien Lake, if THAT's even possible.
So my answer is whatever line at Darien Lake is shortest when I get there, if I get there at all.
Looks like my only ride this year will be Rip Roaring Rocket at Universal Studios Florida. I intended to hit the two new coasters at Fun Spot, but I'm saving them for next year when ACE has their Summer Conference there and at Busch Gardens. But heck, one is better than none!
