What will be the nest new coaster "thing"?

Well, we went from wooden to steel to inverted to magnetic propulsion to flipping and flying.

What do you think will be the next new cool thing roller coasters will do?

I think the next big thing in coasters will be reliability. Before parks & manufacturers go bigger faster and whatever else, lets prove that stuff works first. Seeing giant lawn ornaments at parks gets really frustrating for long periods of time.

My vote is for the wooden invert

It'll combine the spinning seats of X with the spinning cars of the Reverchon mice. Basically a gyroscope on wheels ;)

This topic? Again? Use the search feature, people!

Meow!!!

If you don't want to be a part of the discussion than don't.

Some of the elitist attitudes around here are ridiculous!

I'm sorry you took my remarks as elitist, I'm not. If I was an elitist ass I never would have helped you with suggestions on how to get to Rye Playland. Instead I would have just blown you off and hoped you found how to get there yourself.

I am merely suggesting that you'll find your answers in a previous discussion, which -- if not closed -- you could revitalize with your comments so others could chime in.

I did search before I posted. Perhaps I chose the wrong words, but I was unable to find what I was looking for. Since I am relatively new, I am assuming that there might be others who are new as well and would not be adverse to discussing it or reading what others have to say.

I don't mean this as sarcastic, but is there is general amount of time that has to pass before things get discussed again? I know searching for stuff is an option, but sometimes it's nice to just ask a question and have someone respond to it. It's sort of the point of the message boards if I am not mistaken.

I am not trying to start name calling, but I can say as a newcomer that a lot of people do come off as elitist-even when they are helpful as you were. And I do thank you for that. It just seemed like a semi-mean spirited relpy to me.

I would just like to think that I can feel free to post here without worrying that someone might jump down my throat about it. That is all.

And BTW, this thread was only done about a month ago, with almost the exact same wording, really all you'd have to do is go back a few pages in the forums and find it.

Moosh was just trying to tell you something to be helpful before a mod comes in and deletes this post, and you wonder why its not on here any more, then you get mad and storm out.

Its not polite to get mad when you're new and someone gives you a piece of advice, and don't mind mOOSH, he dosen't have a serious bone in his body(unless you count his line jumping thread, or Hershey park thread, no, wait, just the line jumping thread;))

Beaver, its whats for dinner:p.

I will drop this issue, but I don't see how "This topic? Again? Use the search feature, people!" can be interpreted as being helpful.

And I promise not to get mad and storm out. Unless I am PMSing.

No worries, Spiraling Shape. It's all good.

Tekno - shut up ;)

I'd say someone telling me to "Use the search feature" when talking about a common post would be pretty useful, but thats just me.

*goes and hides head in corner to cry*

"Geez mOOSH, I'm sorry I'm not funny enough for you!!";)

or should I say "I'm disinclined to Acquies(Sp?) with your request."?

I will say this in defense of myself and others. For the life of me, I don't understand how to use the damn search feature. I have tried and tried, but really not much to any avail. Guess I should make a suggestion, eh? There needs to be a "fuzzy" search or word intensive search. It doesn't work, no matter how I try. What am I missing?

I believe you have to have the search by "rank" option selected on the drop down bar to get a successful search.

Have tried that. Doesn't seem to sort the way it should. To me, if I type in "Steel Dragon," I should get a load of topics in date order all with the words Steel Dragon in the title, thread, or by poster (which should be my choice). It doesn't work like that. ... and what the hell is rank really? Is it the order I want them in? NO! ;)

I'd like to see B&M floorless trains put onto the B&M Hyper coasters. I also like to see Inverted LIMs. I know we have Valcano Blaster, but I can't think of anymore. Don't be mad at me for only thinking of that one.
