What was done to dudley

*Yawn*.... this argument bores me. Someone else please take over....

Happiness is like peeing your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth. Trip pics are here: http://www.pbase.com/jhbd99.

Enthusuiast A: My Deja Vu was closed longer than yours!

Enthusiast B: No, mine was!

A: Mine!

B: Mine!

Opps, sorry...wrong thread.

What?!;)
Getting back on topic... I saw some pictures of the new drop and they pretty much made it a "normal" drop. It used to start with a gradual curve to pick up speed and then suddenly dove steeply halfway through. But now it just drops from higher up and is steeper for longer. You can tell because the old siding on the drop was orange & yellow and the new sides that were added to the raised top of the drop are blue. I haven't ridden the ride since the old drop, but I don't know if I'll like the new one as much... One of my favorite parts of that ride was getting airtime right where the drop got steep... I'll still love the ride just as much though...

"What was done to Dudley?"

And no one is going to make a joke about the 'very special' episode of Diff'rent Strokes?

...

...I know I'm not the only one who remembers the bike shop episode.

Keith....that kinda makes sense when coupled with the *believable rumor* that people were hitting their heads....which mostly became a problem when they added the seat dividers....;)

...and so we got a cat to get rid of the mouse...;)

signed, Mr. Drummond ;)

I certainly recall it Gonchar....

I still cannot figure out what made Mr. Carlson from WKRP do such a terrible thing!

By the way, was I the only one that didn't care when Sam got kidnapped?

You'll recall that was the episode where Dixie Carter magically changed into Mary-Ann Mobley.... who guest starred in the Partridge Family epsiode at King's Island... where Fresh Horses was filmed.... that starred Molly Ringwald.... who was in the first season of the Facts of Life.... which starred Charloette Rae as Mrs. Garrett... who was the original housekeeper on Diff'rent Strokes....

Oy... somebody stop me please!

Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Mr. Jump?

Shaggy, you remember what an overbearing mother Mr. Carlson had. That may have been motive enough...

It happened to my sister. She was fine but someone a bit shorter could have smashed their nose pretty good, I bet.

Not trying to bump this for the sake of bumping, but it did make ARN&R....look @ the side bar, Congrats Rampage!
Dudley Do-Right is among the worst flume I've been on. Why?

I feel that like its Mack cousin, JTA, its gets you soaked on the small drop... instead of the big one!

The theming outside is not too bad, but looks like they ran out of money for the inside! Also, seeing the maintenance ladder in a scene is not real good show...

Some parts lack water and so you bang and scrape the bottom of the trench.

And the drop... ZZZZ, its already done? I never felt airtime on it, since I was too concentrated on trying to see after those jets of water punched you in the face!

Badnitrus, you're right about the steepness. The original actually steepened by 5 degrees over the course of the drop to give you that amazing airtime. The new drop doesn't seem to have that at all.

It's still a great drop on its own, but now with less zing.

Whatever "zing" that may be.

where were people hitting their heads?
