Danny,
Sorry if it sounded like I was talking to you about the attraction as a whole. It was meant for those that still think Tomb Raider is going to be something the park has said quite a few times isn't.
I also agree with your view of the theming. Ever since I rode Adventure Express and Outer Limits, I looked at theming in this area in a whole new way. I think Tomb Raider is the next step as far as detail goes. Jeff Siebert said it best when he said, " Previously, a guest would have to go to one of the coasts to see theming of this calibur".
Folks, that's all about to change in one month! =:^)

Anyone think it could be a Something like Spider Man at UIoA? Something a lot more obviously since it is 20 minutes long maybe like that but on more of a roller coaster type track instead of just a flat track with a walking section similar to a haunted house?
You won't be wearing 3D glasses on the ride. I do however think some of the theming may be of that caliber. I really think the ride itself will be thrilling.
Jeff has said something that has me thinking though. The ride is basically what most people think it is with a twist.
Could a Top Spin be on a rotating table???? To be able to basically turn any direction in the building and therfore be able to shoot toward any point inside the ride building.

167 coasters and hopes to be over 200 by the end of 2002 :)
My guess is that this thing will be something akin to 'Twister' at USF for the first couple of show buildings, instead just add some TV monitors in the corners of the room with Angelina Jolie on them.
I imagine walking into the 'cave' and getting to a closed door with an 'attendant' (counting off # of people). Said door opens and you file into room A, 77 people at a time ;), and see pre-show 1 which gives you Mrs. Billy Bob Thornton in all her glory (via TV screens) saying that you're looking for blah, blah, blah and that you shouldn't be there.
Once said lecture is over, door two opens and you file into a bigger antechamber that has TV monitors AND neat-o moving statues and laser light show. AJ goes on about what you're here to do and then something goes horribly wrong and things start 'attacking' you. In order to 'escape' you need to go into chamber 3, where the actual ride is located.
Once in chamber 3, you get into a gondola/ coaster seat/ rickshaw/ double decker bus contraption and put on your horsecollar. The lights go down, ala 7th Portal, and then you hear AJ, see lots of cool fire and water effects. and spin until your head is about to explode. Then the ride comes to a stop. You get up and leave and enjoy the rest of your day at PKI.
Simple as that.
Side note....here's hoping that they put the sling shot ride where the old Dolphin theater used to be. That piece of ground is mighty lonely.

Judging by the pictures, the theming on this ride will be the best at PKI, probably in the entire state.
Why repeat yourself?
I agree Koaster King, looks easily the best in the Midwest, probably one of the best in the country.

Chris Retting, that sounds like what it could be, but after chamber numero #2, arn't you supposedly suppost to go "down, down, into the depths below" as the e-mail said, before you get to the ride? I guess, I nor anybody else will know till Apr. 5th, or 4th sneak peak?
Also Charles, I thought of somthing like that too and wouldn't be surprised if somthing along the lines of the circular top spin could be it. Again, who knows, "besides Jeff S."
