What parks have good capacity?

The fastest lines i experienced was when i went to Geaugia Lake (Before it became Six Flags) The maximum waiting time there was about 15min. Almost all rides were walk-ons.

im with Tolian....BGW and Hershey are definitly the best two parks ive been to as far as ride capacity....now of course i was at Hershey for Ride For Relief in Sep, so it wasnt that crowded, so i dont know what they are like on a hot summer day.  as for BGW, its the B&Ms man!!  all about capacity.  although BBW is not that well known for a quick line, and sometimes neither is Wild Mouse...but Loch Ness is usually pretty quick :)

If we're going with overall capacity and operations that KEEPS the rides running near capacity, CP comes closest to Disney from my experience.  Now as for short lines, try the local traditional parks...

KBF never has lines more than 45. min for Ghostrider
I wish you CP people would tell me what days to go. All three days I went this year(which were either Fridays or Saturdays), Mantis was 2 hours and a half, MF had 1 hour 45 minute to 2 hour 25 minute waits, Raptor was an hour and a half, Magnum was always an hour, Mean Streak had 30 to 45 minute waits, CCMR and Iron Dragon were 20 minute waits, Blue Streak only ran at night two days in a row with 20 minute lines, Gemini was always a walk on though. The rest of the park besides flat rides which I don't ride, were 20-30 minutes as well including Giant Wheel, DT, Wildcat, the water rides, Demon Drop... Since Fridays and Saturdays are usually the only days I can go, I guess I'm stuck with it. Guess I just have bad luck with the park. Sunday was dead at SFWoA. Longest wait was 25 minutes for SUE. X-Flight hadn't been in operation yet. Does the rule for capacity only matter on the days you go? Just wondering.
Koaster King, not including downtime this year, I don't think Magnum ever had an hour wait.  If the queues are filled to the entrance (not the long entrance, just the regular one), the wait should be about 45-50 minutes with three trains, provided you don't wait for the front seat.  As for the best days to go, this year, I think Sunday was the best day to go.  I wouldn't have believed it myself, but I was there the whole summer and Sunday beat out even Monday-Thursday most of the time for the deadest day.  Keep in mind that I'm sure opening day won't apply.  The Mantis situation this year was bad - I guess we'll have to hope it improves next year.  As for MF, I suggest arriving early at the Marina gate and riding MF first thing in the morning (should be on within 20 minutes of opening if you hustle) and then jump in line 5 minutes before the park closes.  They'll let you ride even if the line is 2 hours long.  By doing these things, you can ride MF twice while only wasting about a half hour of your day waiting for it.  Then you have all the other time in between to hit the other rides.  Also, after you hit MF in the morning, I suggest heading for the back of the park as it takes at least an hour for it to fill up and you should be able to get multiple Magnum rides on most days without much of a wait.  Also, another thing is don't hit Raptor in the morning.  Whoever doesn't go for MF first hits Raptor, resulting in a long line.  I suggest saving this bird of prey for late afternoon.

2001 Magnum Crew
i'm with SFGRAMBoy on this one. Capacity and time wait are completely different things. Just because u wait long doesn't mean the crew is going slow. Some rides just can't be moving as fast and load as many people. The ride may be hitting capacity every single hour yet still have a 2 hour wait.
Disney has good capacity but they dont physically check restraints on every ride though. I know on Space Mtn, Big Thunder Mtn, and Mattahorn, they do no physical checks. That's why they are so fast.
I agree with arockam2 and SFGRAMBoy, the question is about capacity (people per hour), not wait times and line length.  Absimilliard, thanks for your post, you seem to be the only person providing real numbers.  Capacity is really the sum of what the ride is technically capable of, how it is operated, and ride 'up-time'.  For example, 3 trains should provide more capacity than 2 trains, but that can be lost if you dispatch trains half full, have long cycle times, or  have maintenance shutdowns during operating hours.

badboy, are you saying Disney is lax on safety?

Humm, Bad Boy, check closer next time. The Disney cast members are the fastest in the business. Maintenance is always top notch. Concerning DLP, here is the following ( same procedures apply for all Disney parks )
On BTM, you need to push the lap bars, otherway, stupid people could get up or small kids ( that still do the 40 inches height limit ) could get ejected during the ride. For Star Tours, you have to make sure every person has his seatbelt buckled on and also, ask them to pull the seat belt ( can get funny when there is germans, italians and spanish persons in the cabin ) and then, send the flight ( at DLP, we are not adviced to send the flight directly from the cabin ).
You need to pull the harnesses on Indiana Jones. The lap bars has to be pushed on the dark rides, so, once again, stupid people dont get out of the car.
Space Mountain is a special case. Did you know that if a Vekoma harness is not locked, you can be able to push on it up as hard as you can, its will not go up... but a small push or pull downward, the harness opens. So, here, its a case of pushing the harness, to make sure its locked. The dispatch cast member must also visually check every harnesses, than, the Load and Unload gives the signal that the train is cleared for dispatch.
I know these numbers, cause I worked 10 months at DLP, on Star Tours and Space Mountain, and knew some people at all the other rides, so, I directly got the numbers from them! Also, given that, I can tell if a ride got good capacity or not. Exemple: a Boomerang got 750 pph, but, with a quick crew and bright guests, you can still pull 710 guests an hour, while the opposite...
