What other rides would you add to the top of the Stratosphere?

Screw it. Just jump! I wonder if the BASE organization allows tandem jumping. :-)

A bungee jump?

No, BASE jumping.....it's like skydiving but they jump off of buildings, bridges, cliffs, etc. It's very dangerous but looks SO fun.

Come down to Bridge Day in southern West Virginia sometime. Those guys are NUTS! Very sweet!

I jumped of the bridge once...I lived in Beckley for a year and was lucky enough to befriend a guy with a chute and crazy enough to take the plunge...
I could havd done it once, when I worked at Beckley Wal-Mart, this Peramedic guy, a friend of mine, had the gear, and was always did. He was going to let me, but at the time, I just could do it.

I probably still couldn't do it. I'm deathly afraid of heights.

^I saw that in Vegas on X-Scream, Clint. ;-) I don't know who cried more, you or Bill. :-P Heheheh.

I would do it in a heartbeat. I am seriously considering training. BASE jumping looks awesome.

After talking with a few of the jumpers at Bridge Day I am hooked.

Heights rock!

As far as Stratosphere goes....there are 2 pretty daunting fences you would have to navigate without getting nabbed by security. Sadly...this has been successful in at least one suicide attempt....and I'm sure more! This says nothing of the questionable landing area...though the parking garage seems doable...with the added benifit of a quick escape! :-) Prior to having a child and growing up a bit...I actually thought a lot about this (at the time Jackass and other crazy reality shows were at a peak). I only have that one base jump under my belt....but there was I time I considered myself a pro. :-)

P.S. Someday I'll tell the story about Scuba Diving the Mirage pond/lake (just the plans)...There are many outdoor activities available right there on The Strip for those with a little imagination and courage...

P.S.S. I've not scoped the water depth at the new Wynn, but there are now possible cliff diving experiences available on The Strip as well...

Well, the Strat could actually offer it for like $500 or something crazy that most people wouldn't do it. (Along with having to sign a waiver, etc.) Heck, that could be another attraction - base jumping ability. Bring Your Own Gear, sign a waiver, pay a lot, then jump.

A mini HUSS Topple Tower.

P.S. There are some very interesting ideas in this thread.

I think they should remove all the rides except the S&S big shot!
