What lift takes the longest?

I have to agree with Laser. Steel Force's lift is slow as well but it is a nice slow. The kind that you can sit there and take in the view.

I like all lifts.

YA DID!!!

For it's size, I'd have to say DT's lift..that takes nearly a minute, if not a minute to reach the top of that little lift.

The single slowest that I have ever encountered was Phantom's taking over 1:20 to crest.  This was before it was changed to Phantom's Revenge.  Second Longest was actually something rather odd, Canyon Blaster at Circus Circus.  For some reason, it took a good minute plus to top.  It did that all day.  But I agree with MFRules, Iron Dragon scares the crap out of you.  Most first time riders get scared when the lift slows to a crawl.  More funny than anything.
I think that Nitro takes a long time to get to the top.

I guarantee you Steel Dragon 2000 has the longest lift.  It takes nearly 2 minutes to reach the top.  Unlike MF, it doesn't use a cable lift and the hill is the standard 30 degree incline.  I believe there are 3or 4 chains to reach the top?  Can anyone confirm this?

Phantom's Revenge, no doubt. This thing was dramatically slower than even Mamba.
Who said that Goliath has a fast lift. On t.v. it looks EXTREMELY slow.

"Although it's not high by any means, Iron Dragon is really slow on the first lift. It slows down to like a half of a mph!"

Yes, that is true, But thats only because of the block zoning on the ride, When a train goes up the first lift, it has to wait for the train on front of it to fully reach the second lift hill before it can go anyway, meaning if neccessary the train will slow to a crawl on the First Lift if needed.

I think that Disaster Transport at CP takes ages on its lift, it seems a short lift, but it really does go up the lift really slow, Its loud too which is annoying, so you're forced to listern to the loudest lift hill in the world for about 1 full minute at least

The 2 chain lifts on Steel Dragon also overlap so that they run at the same speed when the train is being towed up the lift.

DT seems to stop at the top before dropping you into the land of aging space effects. (I still like it though)

Thanks for the help on the chain totals on SD2K.  All I can really say is that the lift is incredibly slow, and upon reaching the top, the train feels as though it might roll back.  I makes NO noise at the top, but just kind of floats there for a moment.  It seems like other Morgans do this also....

I was on Dueling Dragons and our train had dispatched while the other was still in the station and the I am guessing computer had brought it to a near hault and the other train's lift went faster than usual, I thought it was cool that the lift hill had the speed control like that because I have never seen any thing like it before.
I would have to agree that the lift on lochness is pretty slow. but I don;t mind slwo lifts it just more time I spend getting pumped for that drop!
