What Is Tomb Raider The Ride?

Lighten up man... it's a joke, thus the ";)."

I'm actually surprised the capacity is that low, but on the other hand there sure are a lot of seats to check! I mean, they've got twice the number of seats of any coaster. Of course, even if you put six people checking restraints, you still have the people who ignored every sign and message and bring something that's going to fall out, requiring it to be put in the pouch.

Funny thing is how the pouch is worthless because that is exactly where your feet will go. So when you put say you put your glasses in there and then you head towards the lava face first and your feet go there, CRUNCH!!!!

I just got back from my Ohio trip and all I have to say is that it lived up to every expectation I had (although the lava didn't look real), and put all of it's bashers to shame. It is easily my favorite non-coaster ride. I mean the theming is all great, and it's cool how the ride is cooridnated to the theming.
I gotta agree with Jeff and coasterempire about the ride. I expected a fairly okay ride with good theming (and considering the "Disney effect" where nobody outdoes the money spent on theming outside of the Disney parks, I was giving them a lot of room there, or so I thought).

When I went there for CBuzzCon, I was quite impressed with the theming and care taken for the queue line and the themed rooms for the ride. The ride itself is an "experience" that worked very well (though I agree the "lava" wasn't that impressive and the ending is a it abrupt) Overall, the whole is worth far more than the sum of its parts and I came away thoroughly impressed and surprised at how far I underestimated the whole experience.

Your mileage may vary, of course, but as someone who can appreciate the whole (and I can enjoy myself at DisneyWorld despite the lack of "thrill rides" because the theming is awesome and totally immersive there), TR:TR is worth going back there soon for me.
