What is the best stand-up coaster?

I have to say it's one of these three:
Mantis
Chang
Riddler's Revenge
although I still love the good 'ole King Cobra at PKI!
Only been on one so far, Iron Wolf at SFGAm so thats the only coaster I can rate.
I personally like Chang. It was my first B&M coaster. I haven't rode Mantis. I hope to ride it this year at CP.

I've only been on Mantis and Shockwave, but I have to give it to Shockwave, it has more airtime and a better first drop. (usually how every coaster compares to a B&M :) )
I'd have to say that the Iron Wolf at SFGAm is the best. I'm comparing this with Mantis, King Cobra, and the Vortex at Carowinds. It kicks butt for it's great drop, excellent airtime in the back and a disorienting ending. Yah, it's a little rough at times, but that's just part of the fun!

King Cobra has to be the ALL TIME WORST stand up ride IMHO. Sure it was the first and I have ridden it several times at PKI, but what a boring and uncomfortable ride, TOGO GO HOME! If I could borrow 3 more hands I would give it 5 thumbs down. Iron wolf at SFGA is light years ahead of KC at PKI, but B&M didn't quite have their act together yet. At least compared to the quality of their rides today. Look at how much better Mantis and RR@SSMM are. I only rode that ride (Iron Wolf) 1 time on a 2 day trip to SFGA last year. Got to give the nod to Mantis because I haven't ridden Riddler's Revenge yet or any of the others mentioned. Rollcoast, I must like the smoother rides better. Everyone has an opinion and I like hearing everyone elses even if I don't agree :) :)
I've riden Mantis, Vortex at Carowinds, Shockwave, Georgia Scorcher, and King Cobra. My favorites were Mantis and Georgia Scorcher. The Vortex was ok but KC and SW were bad.

Mantis for its disorientation through the whole ride.
Mantis gets my vote but, I may chang my mind after I ride Riddlers Revenge this summer. King Cobra was boring, so much that I didnt even bother with the one at PKD.

I really enjoyed Chang at Kentucky Kingdom... It's got my vote... BUT THE PARK DOESN'T!!!!!!!!!

Since I have only ridden King Cobra (UGH!!) and Mantis at CP I would have to give it to Mantis
hands down
Only my personal opinion!
If I ever get to ride any more my opinion may change!

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight?

The Airtime you pull on that ride is unbeliveable, but only if you stand on the far left.
Mantis all the way
Why of course, Mantis! It's the only one I have ridden! I would like to ride more though, I thought it was a blast.

(edit) Now I have been on Vortex at PGA. Mantis is still much better. *** This post was edited by PT300 on 6/19/2001. ***
I've ridden Chang, Mantis and King Cobra.

And i'd go with Chang. Suprising as it may be. But i liked the ending of Chang compared to the headbanging on the Mantis. Afterall they are the same ride throught the block breaks. Oh and one more thing, there are no trims on Chang's hill! (at least the last time i was there)
THE RIDDLERS REVENGE!

Although I'm not big on stand-ups I like Chang for it's speed and size and King Cobra (PKI) for it's airtime. I've not had the chance to ride Mantis (always too crowded). And Iron Wolf (SFGAm) bangs my head a lot.

Georgia Scorcher. It proves you don't have to be the biggest to be the best.
