What has happened to Coasterbuzz?

Indiana Jones

If that's the case, there should be a lawsuit against DDR as well. Little people can't spread there legs that far!

Danny, I love that movie as well... I can never get enough Jay and Silent Bob, but Alanis? I do concur that she was PERFECT as God Almighty (at least in a comedy), but as a singer, she gets me right in the gut, and I am referring to the lower intestine, thank you. There is only one song I can hang with... Uninvited. The rest is just pabble, and pointless over angst BS, disguised as intellect. Her need to convey her "frankness" is laughable, and her commentary on other artists, ranging from Madonna ("she is brave") to Gwen ("she is such a powerful and strong woman") is trite, and annoying....

Now Hoobastank! Now that's a band! ;)

No Pearl Jam is a band Seattle boy. ;)

So what grunge era lead singers havent killed themselves yet? Eddie vedder and Chris Cornell, am I missing any others?

You are not! I remember recently that you were complaining that you wanted to drop a few pounds. (When you do, aim for the stupid people of the world.)

ApolloAndy AND CoastaPlaya offered up versions of this pithy little *nugget*:

If I *randomly* put *asterisks* into my *comment* it will make it *seem* like I have *something useful* to *say*.

Now see, you just aren't FEELING it, this is not a GAME gentlemen....well, ok, maybe it *is* hehe. But here goes for those at home wondering to themselves "How SHOULD this one look":

If *I* randomly put *asterisks* into *my* comment it will make it *seem* like I have something *useful* to say.

But of course, it ISN'T *random*, nor has it ever been. There IS a method, but then again it's *mostly* just madness...;)

I scored a 50 on the test....I *hate* rhetorical questions...
"I may be wrong, but I doubt it", by C. Barkley (and Shaq thought HE was "The Big Aristotle")...;)

Rob, all of the Kevin Smith films so far I've been a pretty huge fan of (especially Chasing Amy and Dogma). I suggest you watch An Evening With Kevin Smith if you're interested in his direction, and how Jay and Silent Bob came to be, but if I remember correctly, it was about 4 hours long. Just warning you ahead of time, but it's fun to watch anyways.

Now as far as Alanis the singer goes, I loved her first album Jagged Little Pill, hated her second, and then her latest has a couple goodies. You make some good points about disguised intellect, but I guess I just respect the "sound" of her music more than anything. Overall, I like her and some of her music, but I just wanted to stress her great part in Dogma in the last post. :)

Gator (on your sig), I think Rob will agree with me that Shaq lost all credibility by doing Steel and Kazaam (both on IMDBs worst 100).

I feel the need to mention Shania Twain and I'm not sure why (did we talk about this before?). Maybe because there's nowhere left to go but UP! in this thread? lol

Trust me Danny, I would NEVER recommend Shaq for music or movies...just philosophy. Insn't THAT ironic?

I would like to add "Do the Right Thing" to my list of movies...but here's one that Danny and Rob would be VERY hard-pressed to say they've seen...(I would bet money on it, and I am NOT a *gamblin' man*...Bob Seger, popular in my family of "yankee rednecks"...I simply MUST have been adopted)...but I digress....constantly. The movie was called "The Forbidden Zone" and the reason we found it was because of music by The Residents.....yes, THOSE Residents....

Brent....'course they do!

nasai's avatar
Bill, I just so happen to love The Residents (since you apparently do as well, I can safely assume that you are indeed a strange fellow), so yes, I am familiar with The Forbidden Zone. If I recall correctly, it was a musical correct? I don't remember who was in it, if anyone....;) Wasn't Erin Moran in that? hmmm... can't recall that much, I am afraid. Did you ever see "Eyes Scream?" What a bunch of weirdos!

Shaq is a whole other story... one I'd rather not talk about. I admit to jealousy as a player, though. What I wouldn't give to have a stud like him on our court here in Seattle.... I guess The Glove will have to do...:(

Rob, you just NEVER cease to amaze me...:)

And while I agree that the Sonics indeed are out-classes in the West (my Kings gotcha tonite) The Glove *still* has game. But ya gotta have *bigs* to compete, this ain't the Eastern Conference we're talking about...;)

But I should remind you that frowny-faces were forbidden...didn't you READ this thread....ya know there WILL be a test at *the end*, ROFL.....perhaps this thread is a *guinea pig* of sorts so that Jeff can test the logical limits of the software....:)

edit: LMAO, almost forgot...never saw "Eyes Scream"...Commercial album roXors!

Regarding Hoobastank...

Back in about early 2000 or so, my band was on a compliation called "New World Music vol. 1" and Hoobastank was the first track on the disc. I remember thinking, "Boy, you just don't hear local bands this good." I don't know if they had signed anything yet at that point, but you could forsee great things.
