What happened to the inverted?

Those of you throwing around the idea of a coaster for Volcano Valley must really not have any idea where it is in relation to the rest of the park. With all the changes being made to the area, I'd be surprised if you could jam another flat ride in there, much less a coaster larger than the Lil' Phantom. In my opinion, a woodie of some form would be Kennywood's most likely choice for a next coaster, due in part because they're cheaper than steel, and also, Kennywood has had great success recently with a relatively cheap wooden coaster, Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce (a sister park), so I would guess that something similar may be in Kennywood's future. How far off, however, I can't be sure, although I'd guess sooner rather than later. A pipe dream would be a terrain beemer ala Nemesis, but in that you'd likely triple the price, and Kennywood has always been proud of the fact that unlike a certain large corporate chain (that'd be Six Flags), Kennywood is not millions of dollars in the red. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm under the impression that Kennywood is actually in the black, and would like to keep it that way. But then, as said before, and as evidenced by the past, it's damn near impossible to predict Kennywood's next course of action.... don't you love it?

I think what happened is some people thought that Volcano Valley was going to be a different new part of the park, but it is NOT just like pervious mentioned, it's just simply removing the Boardwalk bathrooms and replacing it with the King Kahuna that is pretty much all. Personally I don't think Kw's new coaster when ever that is will be a Wooden coaster I mean yes it does seem that Kennywood has better success with wooden coaster, and I wouldn't mind a woodie, but look at the park there are No loops!!! Kennywood needs some sort of a Steel looping coaster, and I think will be see that in the future some time which might not be too long away either.

Maybe if they could got another woodie, it would have a loop like SOB at PKI, or maybe not. Like said before Kennywood is unpredictable. That is why I love that park.

My mind works in strange ways. Yeah with a chain driven lift hill and gravity.

Dear lord if they ever build on like SOB, I'll kill myself, I hated SOB, the loop and drop were cool, but oh the pain, this was one of the reason they removed SP. cause of the headbanging.

The Jokes on You!! Ha Ha
I'm guessing that' why we haven't seen another Wooden coaster with a loop because the SOB is rough. I did hear that sometimes it depends you can have good rides sometimes...
