Well about 2 or 3 years ago, my friends while at Michigans Adventure pretty much forced me on every coaster they could, having the big finale ride on Shivering Timbers. That's what started it.

Then during the summer, my first trip to Cedar Point, the first coaster I went and conquered was Millennium Force, and that set my love of coasters into concrete.

"I have no legs. I HAVE NO LEGS!! YEAH!!"

Beleive it or not it started for me with Roller Coaster Tycoon!  Actually I've always enjoyed coasters and amusement parks but RCT brought it all to a head.
About two years ago I went on a trip with my friend to BGW. Well, back then I didn't really like coasters. I'd only been on a couple and never knew my friend had been on so many, and knew so much about coasters.

When we got there we hit Apollos Chariot and I had a great time. We hit every coaster except Alpie. I was a little reluctant to go on but after my ride I loved every coaster. I'm glad I went!

When I was in Kindergarten I was already tall enough to go on some roller coasters, so I kept begging my parents to take me on one.  When they finally did it was like being in heaven, loved them ever since.

first coaster: The Demon @ SFGAm

RCT, I don't play it anymore, but last winter it was the only thing I did for a number of months.

I like roller coasters.  They are fun to ride.  Fun is good.

That's why I'm an enthusiast.  (Although I hate that term due to the negative connotations that it carries with it within the amusement industry.)

A combination of RCT and a trip to SFGAm, during which I rode my first 2 "real" coasters, ever.
Watching the Raging Bull run it's course. I loved roller coasters before that, because of Kumba, Montu, Batman etc. But after seeing grace in motion, (Raging Bull) i became addicted.
