What else are you playing?

The FF7 movie sequel is called Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and I'm really looking forward to it. Aside from DDRMAX (the first one, I don't have the second yet), I've got a Pittsburgh Penguins franchise going in NHL 2004, a Penn State dynasty going in NCAA Football 2004, and a maxed out Mac in SSX 3. I've also got FFX sitting here waiting to be played (so that I can eventually get to FFX-2).

I'm playing Wisconsin on NCAA 2003 on my brand spanking new XBox and have yet to allow more than 7 points in a game so far during this first season I'm playing. Guess I need to change the difficulty level again!

Like Jeff, I'm also hooked into Splinter Cell. Gotta love a game where shooting everything in sight is a bad thing.

My next purchase is gonna be Project Gotham Racing 2 which I have seen reviewed to death on XPlay and even a bit on ScreenSavers on TechTV.

BTW, I do concur that Morgan is hot :)

Certain victory.

NCAA 2004, and Tiger Woods. Recently, my PS2 is getting the Disc Read Error, so I don't know what the future holds. I didn't even get to try out my brand new Madden 2004...

Those three are exactly what i was going to say, along with GTA.

Gunbound, Karaoke Revolution and Metroid Prime of course..

In May or June I'll be moving into an apartment where we will have 2 Gamecubes, an XBOX and a PS2 plus like 4 PCs. Can't wait!

WIth the new addition of the Zelda edition of the GameCube, we've been playing Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker a lot. Also digging the old school Sonic Mega Collction, and F-Zero GX. Next up are Viewtiful Joe and Soul Caliber II.

"Manhunt" by Rockstar Games seems to be my game of choice lately. It's a pretty disturbing stealth/action game where your characters main goal is to kill roaming street gang members as gruesomely as possible while some unseen "Director" is filming everything for his sick enjoyment. There are f-bombs galore in the dialogue, blood gushes in an over-the-top fashion, and the sound effects are pretty nasty, but the game has an addictive quality to it, especially when new weapons are introduced. You can't help but want to see how they can be put to use! The game also supports the USB microphone- which is a neat touch as the "Director" barks orders into your earpiece and you can make noise to attract the bad guys simply by yelling into the microphone. The control takes some getting used to, but I am having no problems sneaking up behind some unsuspecting sap and bringing about his untimely end!

To the guy with the PS2 problem: there are fixes out there for that Disc Read Error that just require a small screwdriver - but you have to take off some covers and such so if you're not worried about working electronics, give it a shot. Just type PS2 error disc read in google and it'll pop it up.

As far as games, I alternate around. Some combo of the Bond games for PS2, NCAA 2002 (Pitt dynasty!), Civilization III, SuperPower and DDR. RCT's pissing me off lately, so its in the doghouse. Ocasionally I still bust out Mechwarrior 2 thru 4 or MechCommander, but again, pissing me off lately, so in the doghouse as far as games go. Geez, I make it sound like I actually play games more than 5 or 6 hours a week ...

Oh what a few weeks does to your interest in games...

For LAN party fragging goodness, now I'm getting into Unreal Tournament 2003. And for my own enjoyment, now I'm into Civilization III, destroying Queen Elizabeth's army :)

But now I'm getting into a little Anime... Trigun to be specific ;)

I didn't pick up UT2003, but WILL get UT2004.

On a tangent, does anyone know of any adapters to use XBox controllers on the other systems? There's plenty of adapters out there to use your PS/2 controllers on your XBox, but I want the reverse -- I find the XBox "S" controller to be the best one out there, and want to use THAT on my PS/2 (and possibly GameCube). I've already got a homemade XBox-to-USB cable to let me use them on my PC (for all your MAME needs...)

"You seem healthy. So much for voodoo."

I have given up on Madden after winning three superbowls in a row (as the Chicago Bears!?!?!) and not losing a single game in the three seasons to go 57-0...

Now I am playing Star Wars Kinghts of the Old Republic. One word... "Incredible!" This is such a well done game!! Great story, graphics, voice acting, gameplay... 5 stars! And what's really cool about it is that there is built in replayability because you can play it once going down the "Light Side" path and then play it again while turning to the "dark side" and having different options as the story progresses.

I was wondering how Kinghts of the Old Republic was...I'm thinking of playing it right after I finish Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark. Oh, and after XIII. Yeah. So many games, so little freetime.
I finally bought Karaoke Revolution. As my wife said, she's finally found a game she can beat me at. :) Fortunately, it judges only the pitch of your voice, not whether or not it sounds like crap. :) Still pretty fun though.

I'm working on Lord of the Rings:Return of the King and it is an awsome game and as soon as I get done with that going to try to beat Final Fantasy X-2.
I had a bad habbit that I am trying to stop of buying many games, playing them for an hour, and then never play them again. Ones that actually were worth the money were Mario Kart: DD, Wind Waker, Burnout 2, Super Monkey Ball 1+2, Viewtiful Joe, F-Zero GX, Call of Duty, and the holy grail known as Battlefield 1942. I play on the :ice: server as EastCoaster. Yes, I had the name before the website came out in other games. :)

Oh man, there is a lot better out there than Trigun too...

Hey... like I said, I'm just getting into it ;)
