It's about A$8.50 - US$4.39 at Wonderland Sydney & I would have to pay A$16.47 for a US$8.50 meal!

Park entry is A$44 - US$22.70.

You guys & girls should come down under for a 'cheap' holiday! :)

Well at this one place at SFMM (I forgot the name sorry) you can get one of the best double cheese burgers, and some of the best fries I have ever tasted in my life for $8.50 and you also get a Goliath souvenir cup full of soda.

non-deep dish pizza just isn't worth the time."

Them's fightin' words! ;)

Of course, I grew up on good NYC-style pizza (growing up in the shadow of NYC does that ;) )and, as a diabetic, I would rather a bit less carbos than the deep-dishes provide...

Not that deep dish is BAD, mind you. I like it. It's just not pizza as "Mama Enzo" down the street made it when I was a child. ;)

As for the original topic, I'm afraid I honestly don't know what a burger runs at Kennywood these days, since I don't eat them often. I DO know that an order of buffalo chicken strips with Patch-fries costs $4.25 ;)

I am afraid to say that my home park, SFGAm, leaves you with not even enough change for the Britney Spears sticker machine!!!!

My home park is Hershey, and I never buy a meal inside the park. My son and I would rather leave and go to a local fast food place(They are all right there,)and if we want a nicer place to eat we go to the Red Robin. We can watch The Lightning Racer run while we eat great food at a much more reasonable price. Its a good way to take a break from the park and relax in the A/C. I usually just buy snacks in the park. Soft Ice Cream, Funnel Cakes, and the occasional Boardwalk Fries. *** This post was edited by Coaster Fantom on 6/7/2001. ***
Skyline chili at PKI is the way to go (second only to Wings) and for a footlong coney and a med coke is $6.50. Anyone but me courious why they tax the food there? Im from Northern Ky (45 min away) and i know any food that is carry out cannot be taxed down here, but I dont know if Ohio is different.

Rickyswmn........

My two home parks are PKD and SFA. At PKD.... for a burger, fries, and a large drink, the price is between $8 and $10.

At SFA for a burger fries and a drink... they prices are between $6 and $9 for a decent meal... eventhough the food is still pretty crappy.

Oh... if you go to PKD do not eat at a place with the name burgers in it. There is a non restaurant place where you walk up to it and place your order. They are known for their burgers. Even though the burgers and cooked and not fried... the total price for one meal is $9 to $10 easily. The burgers are also extremely tiny. They are smaller than cheeseburgers at McDonalds. I don't recommend you eat there. At PKD, I recommend you eat at a Diner that is there. The restaurant is named after a famous hockey player, I forget what it is called... sorry!! It is right next to the Hurler (which is a great woodie with tight helices, good drop and never any lines) and is also right by the line for Hypersonic XLC (a coaster with an amazing first launch, a pathetic 90* drop, which lasts for 10 feet down and only a 21 second ride from launch to the brake run.) Also, the restaurant, (Diner or whatever the name is) has a huge hockey player in the front of the doors. If you have any questions at all rickyswmn... please feel free to email me. I really enjoy reading your comments at SFGAd and I hope to travel to Jersey this year or next. Then you can give me some tips for the park. Oh.. My email address is in my personal info if you need it.

Chicago is the king of cheap junk food, but I wish it reflected that in SFGam prices. This is the probably one of the only SF parks without Mickey D's also. That probably has to do with Chicago being the hometown of McDonalds.

Lou Malnati's Baby!
Hey, I think I'm missing out! I have been to CP numerous times, and I never knew about Midway Market having an all you can eat. AWESOME!
Can anyone tell me what types of food they serve there?
They serve cusines from most regions of the globe, including American. They have a dessert bar too. It's way better than Old Country Buffet. Matter of fact, I detest Old Country Buffet.
At Dorney Park the total cost for a hamburger, fries (small), and soda (regular 24oz.) is $8.30.
hamburger- $3.70 small soda $2.10
small fries$2.10 reg. soda $2.50
large fries$3.25 large soda $2.95 sov bttl 5.55
funnel cake$3.75 with straw/choc/appletop add .75
cheese slice $2.65 pepperoni $2.80
sm ice cream $2.25 reg $2.50; with sprinkles (or JIMMIES as the NY'ers and NJersians call them) +.60cents

I am a foods supervisor at Dorney Park. This is my 5th season at the park, and I work at Typhoon Treats which is located in Wildwater Kingdom on your way to the wavepool :)
SFGam's Funnel Cake sundae's are $6.50!! Ever wonder why I never eat there?
Did someone say Lou Malnati's? Sausage and mushroom, with spinach bread before??? Mmmmmmmmmmm :)

I don't eat park food very often, but I'll definitely vouch for the Midway Market at CP - I defy anyone to find a better deal on a full in-park meal than this place.

Being raised on Chicago deep dish pizza, my pizza standards are high, but I've rarely met a pie that I won't inhale - Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and Papa John's included. That said, does anyone really like CP's pizza? Now I'm one of the first to extol the wonderful peninsula that is Cedar Point, but their pizza is nearly intolerable (at least the pie that I ordered at Breakers and the Midway Market was). Maybe it's a tradition, but I'd love to show them a trick or two that I learned from 8 years in the pizza biz. One thing I've learned about pizza is that tastes really vary nationwide - so I am curious about this.
