Kennywood's Racer only has
three trains, and they run two at a time.
Cedar Creek Mine Ride was built for five trains, could run four, and usually ran three when it was run by hand. Last year they installed a new control system and removed two block brakes (one before the helix, one in the first half of the ride) so that it doesn't have six or seven blocks anymore. Unfortunately, Consign's system brings the trains into the station much too slowly, so running three trains results in frequent set-ups with a train on the second lift.
I actually saw a Zyklon running with ten cars on it once. I know Disney's coasters also run a mess of trains on a single track, hence those switches at the station...
