What are you going to do in the off season?

Well...the first thing I'm going to do is go to SFMM with my friend for a weekend. (I'm so glad it's open :)). Then in December I'm going up to Lake Tahoe with another friend and we're going to go sledding and stuff. After that, in March, I'm going on my class trip to DC, NYC, and Philadelphia. (It was postponed from October because of recent events).

Guitar, Concerts, Basketball, RCT, movies, during Christmas break i usually visit a floridian park, this year it'll be BGT...again(gotta love Kumba and Montu) And with recent talks of a new coaster going there, it's all the more reason to go there.

I'll probably be closing the hundreds of boredom threads that crop up every winter. ;)

West Coasters are unfortunatly robbed of the feeling of opening day and the anticipation and joy that accompanies it. It makes it way more special for those of us who have at least 5 months of downtime.

C A all the way... Magic Mountain  Superbowl Sunday.  The day will be mine.
Wait.

Christmas (maybe Santa will finally bring me a coaster for my backyard)

Wait.

Go ride a coaster simulator (with a small battery-operated fan for more effect).

Wait.

Go to CP in May 2002 when it's still 40 degrees in Ohio.

Ohio...so many coasters...
...so little summertime.

I'm going to be helping my faince plan our wedding.  (We're the couple that got engaged on MF)  Have to wait untill coaster season is out and baseball is completely over.  (which for the St. Louis Cardinals, it may be a little longer season ;)  Other than planning the wedding, I guess it'll be all work and no play.  As usual, holidays provide a great break in the downtime monotany.

God please let SFKK get something in 2002. ANYTHING!!

Snowboarding, and trying to get to LA to ride X.

Current favorite coasters:
Wooden: 1) Beast 2) Raven 3) Son of Beast 4) The Boss 5) Timber Wolf
Steel: 1) Raging Bull 2) Millennium Force 3) V2 4) Wild Thing 5) Mr. Freeze

Gee, if i lived about 200-300 miles closer to the Mall of America there wouldn't be much off an off season. Unfourtunetly i am down here in IL and there are no more indor parks left around here in malls or any since the 80's when Old Chicago closed it doors for good. I wish they would build one like MoA or the Adventure Dome in Vegas where they can fit in at least 2-3 great coasters and many other thrill rides somewhere around here. I would go to SFGam if it was open year-round and yes i would even ride in below 0 temperatures. That shows how much of an indreniline junkie i am. I GOT THE NEED FOR SPEED!!!
-----------------
I may be from IL, but i sure can't get enough of the FORCE. MF!!!
Of course hockey and TV, rewatch and get some new DVD's. Hopefully the second season of The Simpsons around Christmas. Oh and how could I forget school? Lots of writing for the school paper and trudging along my junior year :(

I'll be living on coasterbuzz, gttp, thrillnetwork, and all the other sites :) :) :)
