What are you going to do in the off season?

Its getting to that time of the year when the season is winding down at amusement parks. Other than chatting here on Coasterbuzz how else do you spend your winter? I myself like to go snowboarding. The rush I get from it is similar to a coaster. I do alot of other activities, but nothing that is really exhilerating like a coaster. I know some of you are lucky and live in areas of the country that parks are open year round, but being in PA thats not an option here. We need an indoor park... :) At least we get read the announcements about what is new for 2002 thanks to Coasterbuzz.
Seeing that I live in so cali, I'm going to DISNEYLAND! ;) Yup, there, Disney' California Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, and of course, the almighty Six Flags Magic Mountain.

I work at an amusement park I will be working during the downtime season. What I usualy do besides coaster riding is: downhill skiing, snowmobiling, movies, Mall Of America watching the Wild Hockey NHL, Vikings hopefuly the'll win the bowl this year also I'm looking foward to the Vikings vs Packers game which is a BIG game if your from Minnesota. How ever I will be taking one more trip for the final in 2001 season will be going to Six Flags Great America, Worlds Of Adventure and Cedar Point at the end of October which is the best time I think to go for less waiting times in lines. Just cant wait till 2002 will be better! Lastley I will be surfing coasterbuzz pretty much through out the season waiting for next years annoucements which I hope are coming up any time soon...

Actually, I hibernate.  I gather nuts and berries during this time and then I begin making a little burrow. After about 3 months, I awaken and ready to go Rollercoasting. Either that or do whatever seems to sound fun.

I usually snowmobile and snowboard, this year though I decided to build a model rollercoaster to pass the time.  I already started it, check it out if you want.

UpsideBlue, that's what those people have who are unfortunate and don't live in CA or FL.  I vaguely remember it from childhood...

To quote from one excellent movie "Smoking buddha, drinking cristal and other types of ill Sh**". J/K :) Actually I play alot of b-ball, see alot of movies, I probably do some skiing and snowboarding since my area (new England) has some of the best mountains. I also make an annual trip down to florida to appease my coaster appetite. I am feeling hungry just thinking about it!!!

Football, hockey, TV, movies, catching up on reading, some travel (possibly including Florida for a coaster fix ;) )

Oh, and RCT, drooling over pictures for next year's new coasters (no taking this year, Kennywood won't be doing another PR so quickly ;) )

I live in Southern California. I go to amusement parks in the offseason!!! Actually, I usually go to parks more in the offseason than during the summer due to lack of crowds and other issues!
