Weirdest Name

Daidarasaurus and Fujin Raijin II are pretty strange. To answer the questions by Glenn, Dodonpa translates into many things, but the main reason it is called that is because the Japanese have a HUGE love for onomatopoeia, or words that are spelled like they sound. Dodonpa is the "sound" that your heart makes when beating....hence, do-don-pa...:)

Well, Elitch Gardens is now the proud owner of two weird names, The Flying Coaster and Twister II. Twister II, just think about the name, it makes no sense...
Yeah, Twister II makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. ;)
The aforementioned coaster named "rollercoaster," is at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the UK. It's also really, really old - i think something like 1920's? I'm not sure, never been, but for being one of the first rollercoasters, that name was probably pretty exciting in it's time. Just a thought.

(oh, and aren't Fujin and Raijin "Final Fantasy" characters? Is that coaster in Japan?)
