Weirdest Name

I would have to say any coaster called "Roller Coaster".

Dog Fart? Is that located outside of a KFC?

Rollercoasters are my life, I think about them more than I think about....wait, thats all I think about :)

I always thought that a better name for "Roller Soaker" at Hershey would have been "Hershey Squirts".

In reply to an earlier post, I think that Montezuma's Revenge is a cool name for a ride. But I see the funniness, "Ride this ride and get dissentary":) That should be its slogan

Brat sure is a strange name for a coaster, but RCDB explains where the name came from.

Couldn't find it in RCDB, but I swear I remeber along time ago about a coaster in Japan call the "Screw Coaster".
I'd say the Cornball Express....What the heck is a cornball?! I still wonder what the people at Indiana Beach were thinking at that time.

-----------------
You can hear the laughter, you can hear the mighty roar. From the brickyard down in Indy to the white Chicago shore. It's a rollin', twistin', turnin' and might we both suggest. You get you fanny ridin' on the Cornball Express!

Hey, Hoosier Hurricane was originally gonna be Cornball Express, but they changed their minds saying that Cornball doesn't represent a big coaster like the Hurricane. Cornball came in for the family coaster that it is now.

A coaster I really enjoyed, by the name of Whizzer. I mean it doesn't really sound like a coaster name to me.

I think the Whizzer is a cool name because it just "whizzes" by. When I was young, I used to think it was called the Wizard.

Cornball = exrta sticky carmal corn that is rolled up into balls and served, can be found from the back of a trailer on the midway of any midwest county fair. What better name for a coaster at an amusement park that looks like the midway at the county fair.

Whats life if you never get to the Po!nt?

What about Megazeph? That's one really strange name.
I remember hearing about the "Jumbo Jets" at CP when I was a kid and wondering what the heck it was! That is a pretty strange name for a coaster.
Medusa, WTH? I also think a lazy and boring name is "Boomerang" :)

-------------
So what is better? SFMM or CP? I don't care! They both have 29 coasters between them that they build so we can have a good time!

I don't see anything wrong with Medusa or Boomerang. Ithink Boomerang goes perfect you throw it/the first half of the ride and it comes back to you/the second half of the ride.

Megazeph is named after one of the most famous wooden coasters in the south called The Zephyr, its original location was New Orleans but it no longer operates. Say, what did you know, Megazeph is in New Orleans as well, you caught the resemblance yet?

WA (ok, you regulars are ready for the acronym by now) has a Boomerang in the Aussie Outback section of the park, and it is themed (artwork, color scheme, etc.) so I count that as "the only coaster appropriately named Boomerang". They also have the Tasmanian River Rapids, a very cool Hafema water ride with a whirlpool...

AIR is a pretty wierd name
