SFMM. A 300ft suspended single-rail coaster like Pteranadon Flyers. Bob of Thrillride! swore he would ride it naked if they ever built it! I nearly wet me pants!
KK, now SFKK. 'Blinding Dark', a dueling coaster with one side a shuttle coaster & the other full circuit. Each with eight inversions (4 actual on Shuttle). One painted black, white supps, white trains, vice versa for other. Actually rumor is this is serious and has been shelved for the meantime due to the SF takeover.
CP, mentioned in another forum by me. Triple track racing/dueling coaster. Coaster with interchangeable track sections so that no two rides are the same - as if! Been resurrected as Giovanola Tilt. Underwater coaster in lake Erie, please!
Alton Towers. B&M Mega Looper in Pyramid starting with a launch & lifthill in middle of ride. Would be fun though!

I remember some wild rumours (it WAS on Thrillrides Wild rumours) about the coaster that is now Goliath. They said it would tower above Colossus (right) but then the descriptions got quite irrational. There was talk about a launch out of the ground and then something about a backwards return after inversions. Can anyone remember?
What about the Launched Stand-up Woodie soon to be at Cedar Point? Or the Inverted Stand-up that will fill in the space left when they ship Magnum to Canada.
And that Goliath's station would be underground!

How about that SFMM was going to build a coaster that will hit 100mph and go up a tower that is 415 feet tall. That was a funny rumor. Oh, wait, the ride was built. Nevermind, my bad.

There was a rumor that Phoenix Rides, now Premier Rides were working on a 200mph 'Bullet' coaster. That means on a turn of 400ft diameter, you'd experience 2-3G!
Anyone remember this rumor??

Dude, Metrock, that's funny, because I was going to post the exact same thing. I remember when my friend told me they were making that ride, and I didn't believe it at all. I figured there was NO way Superman the Escape would become a reality. Well, that rumor did become true, which proves that even the wackiest might someday prove true!

Don't forget "Bionic Beast" the 300 footer for PKI. That was part of my first thread here at CoasterBuzz. We had alot of fun with that one.
A funny one was that Batman and Robin the Chiller would get a third track painted pink and named Batgirl. And that it would have four inversions (8 forward & backward)!
