Virtual Midway has added 60 new photos of the construction at Cedar Point. Photos show that the new ride is really beginning to take shape.

Or maybe it's exactly what it seems...

Those ramps look like those that we see at the top of a lift?? and there are some HUGE supports still to place. I'm confused now...but either way this thing is big.

Pieces for the elevator that likely will go up the middle of the structure, if I had to guess.

I'm siding with the 270 degree spin into a Top Hat myself. Reason being there seems to be an over abundance of twisty sections and then these three guys..

I can't imagine where they would go if not on a Top Hat. Ahh.. heck who knows. Oh that's right... Jeff knows. *LOL*
It's fun speculating though.
^ surely they can only be for a top hat with a angle so tight?
and also the pieces on the track that join to the supports are on the inside of the curve suggesting a non inverting top hat. Or maybe they are not join bits and the top hat is unsupported like on Xcelerator. It sure is fun to speculate!
And those walkways look exactly like they are for the top of a lift.
THE PLOT THICKENS!

Myth 3. Employes are not getting paid with toll profits from the early 90's.
Any one else out there think Gemini needs up-stop wheels? I think it would make that great ride a fabulous ride!

I noticed that they're down to only two web cams on the CP website. Is that a regular occurance towards the offseason or is it perhaps being repositioned to give another view of construction?
That condensation on the lens doesn't help by the way...
Sharpel, try editing; also, your post made absolutely no sense at all.

87 different coasters for this year and counting... 149 total!
Also, I noticed yesterday that the row of supports leading to the tower (whether it's "the launch" or the landing side, I'm not sure) have two different height profiles. After staring at this height disparity for about five minutes on two different occasions thinking "How can that be possible?," I finally realized the supports suddenly become a lot shorter to accomodate a different track profile. Duuuh.
Suspicion/Sideline #1 (and I sure hope I'm right): Mantis is to be repainted this winter. I noticed yesterday that the queue rails and the entrance and exit grates are newly painted. That coaster really needs some attention - it looks like total crap. They also need to repaint Iron Dragon (Wildcat was already being repainted - at least the track was anyway, yesterday). That section of the park would look great if they did.
