Vertical construction begins on Superman at Great Adventure

Posted | Contributed by Chewman

Vertical construction on the new Superman themed flying coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure has finally begun. Supports for the loading station were the first things to rise. Most of the track has arrived and is on site ready to be installed. A complete update has been added to Great Adventure Source.

You're right, I missed the "U" in squealing. Try typing with one finger because of a broken elbow. [Taking sling off as to not miss any other characters]. As for the the combination of after and all, hey I learned something new. There are lots of combinations of after and other words in my dictionary such as "aftertime" and "aftereffect", but no afterall. I tell you, the english language is crazy. I should've looked it up. "Alot" sounds like it works, but I learned awhile ago that doesn't exist either. The one word that is constantly screwed up is the word "Definitely". By the way, Mac users have no spell check option in Explorer.

I have also heard that Evolution is a puke inducing machine. Maybe it's a good thing I haven't ridden it. I would guess the ride cost Six Flags an easy $1 million to $2 million dollars. What a waste.

For the record, even though as far as we know this one won't have a dual station, the switch tracks at SFOG do not flip; instead a turntable rotates a short section of two tracks a slight amount.

Is that a Q-bot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

There is only one station. There will not be a separate loading and unloading station. SUF will only have 2 trains with 32 people per train.

Viper, I too WAS guilty of believing it would have dual stations (probably because *I* wanted it to, lol). I have since been *set straight*, but still think it SHOULD have been dual stations. Of course, I'm also one of the doubters who thought WT's capacity would be a problem. I know it sure would've been if these were Vekomas, they were MUCH harder to load. The Beemers load *almost* as easily as the inverteds...

But if they don't want to believe that you *know*, let them believe what they will....Keep that badnitrus stuff coming, it's AMAZING....:)
