Valleyfair's New Impulse, Steel Venom

That was a rhetorical question. IMHO either one is the last step before tossing your PC out of a window.

I think it would be better to have one twisting tower and one vertical tower because you'll be able to have the holding breaks like the V2's and Superman: Ultimate escape. I like wicked twister but I love superman: ultimate because of that holding brake on the the vertical tower. talk about hang time!

I would've chosen three more pages of M:TR....sure, it's a "used" ride, but I'm pretty sure it's still got *some* thrills left to give...;). chris must've been hungry I guess.....lol.

Yes you are correct. The Morgans are tamely smooth and Maggie is insanely rough. I honestly don't see how you can enjoy something that rough, but then again I'm spoiled by my "tame" SMOOTH Mamba.

A Jew with dreadlocks? kick ass.. i guess..

I don't think the structural problems were with the Double twist, but with the height. Other impulses have the exact same twist with no issues, only WT is taller.

That's because you are a wussy and most people are aided in their enjoyment of Maggie by something called a spine, ya little 'Mamma-loves-Mamba' boy. :P

Maggie during CoasterMania ERT answered all questions for me why so many rate it #1.

In other news, I'm sure you're glad to see the movie '8 mile' fare so well at the box office. Click on Swoosh's info to see why...

Even though I think an impulse coaster is a terrible addition to Valleyfair (come on, seven years without a major coaster and we get a clone found six hours away?) I'm very happy it's a standard impulse and not a double twisting one. Though I've ridden enough impulses to not get excited over a new one, the standard impulse is a hundred times more fun than Wicked Twister. I honestly don't understand where the extra thrill comes from; I much prefer the back spike and holding brake. I'm just pissed VF didn't get the B&M inverted coaster the park deserves.

As for Magnum, the Morgan hypercoasters are everything Magnum should be - but just isn't. I wish it was sinking.

Maggie is not in the least bit rough. Forceful yes, rough no.

Guess I need to know I just got off a ride to love it.

BTW I think I still have bruises on my thighs from closing night. Insane.

Last train of the year and the last person through the turnstiles.

Wow, I got into this one kinda late but, here goes! April, I really take great great offense at that line! Who the heck do you think you are to say that. Only trash people talk that way. I'm really offended! It takes all kinds of people to make this world go round and you know what? I have best friends that are Japanese, Mexican, and Russian. I have Arabian friendsYou are so wrong to say what you said. Sure their are good people of all nationalties and there are terrible people of all nationalities.

I think you, April need to get a life and maybe you will see things in a different light. I do not have any use for trash talking people! You disgust me.

You are so mean to me. I hate you, I hate you, I hate you. I will say that my experiences with Magnum were from a couple of years ago and it could have improved (or I rode it on a bad day). I decided to pass up CP this year and go to PKI instead because I wanted to ride TR:TR (which was a lot of fun). I'm sure Maggie is a "wonderful" coaster - I just prefer Mamba (it's in my back yard ), that and the fact I have no spine and I am a Momma-loves-Mamba boy :)

And yes I am very pleased that my movie (8-mile) did exceptionally well at the box office this past weekend. If you haven't gone and viewed it yet, please do so - I need the money for my next coaster convoy.

Magnum is not the least bit intense. Rough, yes. Intense, no.

Seriously, we've had this debate before and it's obviously not going to go anywhere. People have greaty differing opinions on Magnum, but I just cannot see what anybody likes in that ride. There are so many other rides out there that do "Magnum-esque" ten times better and a hundred times less laughable. Really, it's a sorry excuse for a ride...probably my least favorite ride at CP.

Sorry to get technical, but "Commies" is not an ethnicity, it is a political belief. There could/ probably is American "commies" so therefor that comment is null and void.
