V2 is open at SFGAm!!!

Too bad I couldn't be there, :(. Oh well, I'll be there next weekend. V2 sounds really cool.
Um... well bad news for anyone who went today. :-(
V2 never opened because of a mechanical problem.
So I never got the chance to ride it. :-(
The guy who was telling everyone that it was closed, told me it would be open tomorrow though! :-)
I want to go!
I am going tommorow!!! I get to go on it!!! For anyone who has ridden it, how long were the lines???

I was waiting in line too
I waited 2 and a half hours for V2 to open. Evertime I was going to leave the line it looked like the ride might open. Thank god they have some sort of fast pass queue set up for the ride.

Wait a minute? They have a fast pass for V2? They didn't on Friday. BTW, love the sig, yay Bucks!

Yeah, too bad it didn't open yesterday. It's still a great ride.

Whats a 'fast pass?' what is the que line like for it?
Even though I wasn't there, I assume the fastpass system is like what they used to control the lines with MF. They give you a ticket, and you come back at a certain time to ride it. It really does help control the lines, but can get on your nerves sometimes. I bet there going to do that with Deja Vu too.
Do you think they do that because the que line is so short and it goes all the way to iron wolf? By the way, does any one know where the entrance and exits are located?
There were two entrances to Vertical Velocity. The one on the right led to a full, small queue that probably could hold at most an hours worth of people. The one on the left led immediately up the stairs and could hold two to three trains worth of people. The ride ops wouldn't say exactly what it was for but said it was something along the lines of fast pass.

Hopefully they do the exact thing for Deja Vu, and maybe build a bigger queue. Even on a weekday in summer, I predict the lines for V2 will spill out into the midway.

The entrance is located just south of the exit and its about several hundred feet south of batman. It's probably the most attractive entrance of any of the rides at Great America with the big v2 and the metallic vertical velocity going across the top. Even though I didn't get to ride it, it was fun to talk coasters for almost three hours.

I hope the traffic from V2 doesn't interfere with Batman's crowd. Then that area would have major congestion, and would be very hard to get around.
That is stupid that they made the que line so short. I bet it will be a major problem with the line in the midway walk way.
The queue line length was something they probably had to leave short. Think of where the ride is. Water is around a lot of it, and next to a lot of the water is midway. Not much space for queue. The way Great America is handling the problem (fastpass) seems like the best solution to this problem. Also, they probably think after a few years, it won't be nearly as popular. Novelty can wear off quickly on shuttles.

V2, Deja Vu... how can it be better? Add Viper! Oh, wait. It's already there!
Really, that line in the mid summer is gonna go far! I bet this things gonna end up near the Iron Wolf, No joke, its gonna be crazy, why did they make it soo small, I guess no room.
I heard that the V2 did extend to Iron Wolf. Does anyone know how long the line is from there(iron wolf)?

V2 Memorial Day! I can't wait!
I was there today (arrived at 3, in line for V2 by 3:05). I waited around an hour for front seats, standing for that hour behind some teenage boys who were a bit amused at the homos behind them. What a way to start the season! At least the ride kicked some ass! Maybe I should have done the same. . .
