V2 is open at SFGAm!!!

Today, May 18th, I went to Six Flags Great America. And, at 2:00, they opened V2! The line was quite long (1 1/2 hours), but it was worth the wait. Was anyone else there?

DOH! Why couldn't Intamin get ours here at SFMW ready ahead of schedule? We have the cruddy luck here in California. Oh well, a few weeks of extra waiting isn't going to hurt...wait a minute, yes it will! ;) That's great that it's open for everyone to enjoy. Can't wait for ours to open! Peace. :)

What was the theming in the que line like? Was the line out door or indoor? Details!

Actually, I rode it too. My friends and I were thinking about asking the park peops, when it would be open. So, they were testing it, and they said, maybe even today. So we all just ran to it, well, we were the first, but, we waited, supposed to be open at 3, but, we still stayed. At 2:00, it happened, and my friend Steve and I were the 4th ever! to ride the front row on V2. lol And IT WAS CRAZY! I never thought that ride would be that crazy, I loved it, so we waited an hour and rode it again, front row. I think this will beat the hell outta that deja vu!! V2 ROCKS!! But the lines , kind of boring I must say, and , not alot.

What I meant about the lines were, not alot que lines, and the theming? what theming? some bushes. And they said Deja Vu wont be open til at probably late June, but dont know for sure. (like always)

WHAT? Deja Vu isn't opening till late June. The thing is finished!! How long does it take to test a roller coaster? It shouldn't take 4 weeks unless something goes horably wrong.

From a picture I saw on a site( http://wildfire.moo.net/~coast/SFGAm-V2/5-14-01/DSC00012.JPG ) it looks like they at least have yet to paint the station. Ooooh, aaaah: Orange!

it broke down continuously almose every other ride and they had to close it down. so dont be surprised if it is not open. they said that they cannot locate the problem and we all had to leave the park this was at 645 about 45 min after the park closed.

Coastercraver.. The Station is done, the ride opened? what are you talking about?

From the picture (the link I posted, did you look at it?), it looks like the station still has to be painted. I don't know how old those pics are though. Just adding to the question about theming (if you can call the station paint themeing I guess).
