I don't know if this is possible or if another site already has it, but I'd love to see a US map with pinpoints of all the major parks in each state. For example, we'll use Ohio. On the Ohio state graphic, there'd be 3 blips (4 if you want to include Americana) The peep would click on the graphic and it would bring up a closer view of the state with the parks marked and their nearest city. You could maybe put in crude lines representing the interstates or important interstate highways nearby. If the person clicked on a parks pinpoint within the larger map, it would take them to that parks listing.
Sound intriguing to anyone? I think it would really help choosing a route for a large coaster trip.

PS: I just saw coasterpunks reply in the general buzz. I will be buying the book he recommended, but it would still be nice to have something graphically on the web that would link to the park listings here on Coasterbuzz.

Six Flags does this for you to choose wich park website you want by regions. I think screamscape does this to pick wich park photos you would like to see but i do not know of a website that does this for all the parks in the nation.
This is a good Idea Jeff!!!!!! You could just have a map that would link you to the individual park pages when you click on the star or dot or whatever it would be. Call it the locator page!!!
