Actually, that bit of information was correct at "press time," but is now incorrect. :)

Well whatever is added, I'm sure it will be a great addition to the park.

HMMM!!!!!!! Paula are you actually hinting that there will be more than 2 now? (Rideman just barely beat me to that one!) At least that is what I would suspect by the smily after you said "Actually, that bit of information was correct at "press time," but is now incorrect." Now that could be interesting...It is either that or I suspect if Holiday World gets one addition it will be much...much larger than the 2 new attractions Holiday World was to get. I can hardly wait to see what you have up your sleeves Paula! Also I can hardly wait until SRM 2003! Even if Holiday World adds nothing I know I will be back!

Maybe it was 2 small attractions, but is now one big one. Whatever it is, I can't wait for an announcement.

I hope one of those is a Morgan Christmas themed Carrousel!

Was Walt Disney ever a visitor in the history of Holiday World?

Congrats, Paula, on the excellent coverage in USBR. The natives are foaming at the mouth...better announce those new attraction[s] soon ;-)

So the decisions have been made, the contracts have been signed, and an announcement comes in 15 days. Let the guessing games begin!

Paula...is there a prize for the person to first guess correctly?

LOL!

"Trio" makes it sound like the new attractions are somehow connected to each other.

A cluster of Huss Giant flatrides? ;)

Greg - more than likely I'd count on two rides and one addition to the waterpark, but that's just a guess.

2002 had us seeing double at SRM. 2003 they're going for the triple play. Is there a trend developing here?

Will the 'Hammer' be offering maintennance seminars to the rest of the world during the off-season? Or will he continue to try and have Raven and Legend rerturning to the station before they've left. Passengers will be getting off younger than when they got on. *** This post was edited by boblogone on 9/18/2002. ***

I'll play:

1. Dark ride.

2. Water Slide.

3. Tera. - Take that, PKI!

chris - maybe HW is gonna get a new kiddie coaster and send the old one to SFAW as their 2003 addition?

Moosh - have can-o-worms, will travel ;-)

It all makes sense to me now: SFAW will announce a new for 2003 Gravity Group twister with a custom layout to appease the 'neglected' masses of Houston. Unfortunately for them, the cunning minds at Holiday World (not wanting to miss out on the opportunity to put their GG buddies "back on the map") "pull a fast one" on the Six Flags Masters of Mismanagement, and arrange for a ride swap which sends the rights to the new GG twister to HW in exchange for The Howler.

This unprecidented coup is met with shouts of glee across the 'spoiled' Midwest, while the noose tightens around the neck of those thrill deprived souls in Texas' forgetten city.

Nah...They're getting a Tera.

But I'm just an idiot, so what do I know?

Starting to plan on how to coerce my wife into letting me go down to SRM2k3...

Thanks Great America!

Hey Paula, congrats on another great year. How's it going on attendence wise. Last I heard you said attendence was up 21%, are you still at that figure. I can't wait for Oct. 3!

We're still hanging in at 20%. Looks like we'll top 750,000 for the first time ever!
