Unlimited soda at Cedar Point without a souvenir bottle?

I recently got a survey from Cedar Point and this was one the screens. Sounds like a cool thing Cedar Fair thinking of trying. The reason I never buy those souvenir bottles is so that I don't have to pay for lockers. I would love to pay one price beginning of the season and then just enjoy those Coke Freestyle machines. Anybody else a fan? I hope they keep the bottles around for those who like those as well.

I've been wanting something like this for years. I only bought those souvenir bottles once and never bought them again due to the hassle of carrying it around and getting a locker. I hope they do this. I'm sure they will keep the bottles as an option for those who like them.

I've only ever had them when they were handed out by a park at an enthusiast event, and they all quickly ended up in the car. For me, they're just too big and awkward an item to tote around all day. Paying up front for a season's worth of cups of soda? Yes, please. Nothing to carry, smaller so I'm not feeling like I have to fill and drink the whole souvenir cup.

This iPad auto correct is going to be the death of me! It just auto-corrected enthusiast to enthusiasts sissy!

I got the same survey. I would sign up for this in a heartbeat.

I did get the impression in the survey that this would not be unlimited, there would be a time delay between refills. I don't believe that would be a deal-breaker.

I think it's a great idea. With their strict no loose articles rules, I never buy a souvenir cup because I'd just end up having to shell out for a locker over and over again.

When I was at the park for a private event a couple months back, they gave us wristbands with a barcode that got us meals and unlimited drinks. It was really convenient. I wish they'd also add that as an option for non-passholders.

I wish they would just adopt Universal's locker policy. Free for the time you ride. The souvenir cup at least cuts back on waste.

I got the same survey for Dorney. If they were to get Freestyle machines like other Cedar Fair parks, I would pay for this program. I hate the souvenir cups, even getting the unlimited refill version from Great Adventure for free with the season dining pass, I never use it other than the trip I get the cup because I don't want the cup to get stolen or tampered with. At some rides, you have to leave the cup in a holder area outside the ride entrance of use a locker and if you pay to use a locker at each ride, it cancels out the savings of using the cups.

I can't see the survey from this PC. Could someone please send a link? Sounds like a great idea. I bought souvenir bottles from 2 Six Flags parks and left one in a loading station, never to be seen again. The 2nd one I never used except on the day of purchase b/c putting it off to the side in a loading station before getting into the train every time I rode something was just too much of a hassle.

Excited to hear that this is hopefully chain wide. A lot more upfront costs are going into my Platinum pass purchase though... Between this potentially plus dining plus FunPix you're pushing $400 dollars for a season. Yikes.

I've said elsewhere that I'd rather drink one obscenely overpriced bottle of soda pop and then water the rest of the day than deal with the hassles of remembering a souvenir cup, carrying the cup, putting the cup aside to get on a ride, remembering that I put a cup aside when getting off a ride....

Also, I don't need to drink soft drinks by the gallon. I'd rather have 12-ounce servings throughout the day than one or two 40-ounce refills that are flat by the time I'm done with them.

Dorney will have to wait to get CP's used Freestyle machines, right?

And Michigan's Adventure still won't get anything.

Coming to Michigan's Adventure in 2018: unlimited tap water in a Dixie cup.

Michigan's Adventure gets unlimited Faygo.

Hey now. Faygo is really good, especially the cherry cola.

I'd definitely buy this too. Haven't gotten a souvenir bottle in a good while cause of the hassle. And I like the Freestyle machines. Raspberry Coke Zero!

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Just did my survey and voted for ditching the souvenir cups but even if they go that route I still won't be buying the plan because my beverage choices are a bit limited by health issues so it makes more sense for me to just not bother with it. Coke doesn't come in caffeine free as a fountain drink and I don't think you can drink Gatorade on the plan so I'll just stick with water fountains and smuggling in stuff in my pockets.

I'm pretty sure they have Powerade in the Freestyle machines.
