Universal Studios Hollywood will be 70% new in two years

After pouring money into its Universal Resort in Orlando, Fla., Comcast is increasing spending at Universal Studios Hollywood, unveiling a smattering of new attractions on Tuesday that — when combined with previously announced sections devoted to Harry Potter and “Despicable Me” — will leave 70 percent of the California park remade by 2016.

I guess Universal parks will NOT be "under-capitalized" for long...

I don't know if it is just because I've been so into this stuff in the past 5 or 6 years, but it seems to me like amusement park expansion is on a notable upswing. Am I just noticing it more because I'm paying more attention, or has anyone else noticed a similar pattern? I HOPE it's not just me.
