Ugly Parks..

Thanks Coaster Chickin :)
What I meant is everybody's ripping this poor guy apart for posting what turned out to be quite a popular topic...its not cool to bash somebody for posting about unattractive parks and then entertain some little girl talking about bouncing boobs and such....
I don't recall anyone ripping the guy apart. Nothing in this thread has seemed like anything but a peaceful conversation/debate over ugly parks.
What we're talking about here is asthetics. What is considered an "ugly" park to one may be perfectly acceptable to another. I do agree that the parks associated with fairgrounds usually leave a lot to be desired. To me, a lot of the newer parks lack charecter,(SFEG comes to mind) but so do a lot of older ones.

I think Dutchman is right. I think lack of character would be a lot easier to discuss.

"boobs were flopping around everywhere" on the trampoline?
Doesn't the TOS say that "sexually oriented" material isn't allowed?
There shouldn't be a double standard!!!

What exactly does flopping boobs have to do with sex in this context? My boobs flop when I'm jumping on a trampoline as well, but is that something that you consider sexual? If that turns you on, I'm so sorry...

In the TOS it does say we should be careful about sexually oriented things. But there are alot of things that are innuendo that most 13 yr olds and under don't get (I'd assume that since kids read this site that that is the reason Jeff put that in the TOS), and there are some things of a sexual nature mentioned on this site that aren't sexually explicit.

M:TR has probably been around here longer than you, I know its been around longer than I, but alot of people don't get it.

But still, I don't see how mentioning how her boobs flopping on a trampoline is considered sexual. It happens. Its got more to do with the laws of physics than it does with sex. If you think it was, then maybe you should retrieve your mind from the gutter, mine isn't there right now...

Please be a chick, TeknoScorpion... because I really don't wanna imagine a guys boobs flopping around.

I just had my lunch.

I remember Conneaut in the 70's and 80's.They had more rides, but over all, it was the same layout. I can't say conneaut is ugly, but due to lack of funding, it has gone downhill.
Geauga Lake's only saving grace, imo, is the former animal side. At least that side has trees and shade and overall looks beautiful..
the ride side looks bad.

Michigan Adventure is by far the ugliest park ever. And worst park ever.

Redwings rule!!
Judge Judy - MI Adventure is not an ugly park. Its a small, quaint, family park in a very blue collar part of West Michigan. MI Adventure was unpleasant before CF took it over. The only think ugly about this park is the county it is in. There is a ton of land in that park for expansion and sadly the county keeps tying up CF building permits. I am sure you've heard the numerous rumors of a vertical ride or a hyper-coaster being constructed at that park. It is now very clean, very affordable, with a handful of good roller coasters (and IMO the best woodie Shivering Timbers) and decent flat rides.

I am not sure that I can say I've been to an ugly park. But I was unhappy with SFWoA (Geauga Lake). I have not returned to GL since it was purchased by CF. I was dissapointed with the dead ends and the unpleasant staff.

I am in agreement with Judge Judy. Michigan's Adventure is a hole.

I think Clint's mention of his manboobs flopping should not only be against the TOS, but against the law ;)

They don't even have a sit down resturant.

...and that makes it ugly how?
hehe, Antuan. I wasn't going to say "boobs flopping around" at first, but I didn't want my post deleted...;)

Actually, my manboobs aren't quite large enough to flop yet:).

My vote is for Camden park. Next horror flick taking place place a some ugly, condemed park should be shot here. Frontier City is pretty sad too. And speaking of horror flicks, try using the restrooms at Astroworld. On second, don't. It can only make things worse.

Actually, there's a power BEYOND Jeff operating on this one, Clint (no, not God)....COPPA is the real reason that you have to be 13 or over, and that's gonna be true for virtually anything where you *interact* online....

Just more evidence that users never really *read* that stuff they agree to...;)

It's also longer than you.

So, you got your credit, huh Andy?

You are such a credit whore....;)

Oh man, Conneaut Lake Park is NOT ugly. The lakeside setting is beautiful, there are actually trees and green areas, and the hotel is the most photogenic thing in the park. Sure, it could use some work, but any old traditional amusement park is certainly NOT ugly in my eyes.

Same goes for Lesourdsville Lake. Great setting and great atmosphere. I really loved that park when I visited it a couple years ago. I'm really sad that it hasn't reopened, because it seemed to have so much potential. They had some great rides too, including the Screechin' Eagle and the incredibly wet log flume ride. Best flume ever.

There aren't that many ugly parks, because every park is unique in its own way.
