Two questions in one...LOL.

First, I got a PM that I couldn't seem to open, and my best GUESS is that it was because there was nothing in the "Subject" line, so there was nothing *clickable* with which to identify or open the message. Not sure whether that's functioning "as intended" or if there needs to be a way to open a *subject-less* PM.

Second, when I just went to LOOK in the Suggestions Forum, the forum didn't OPEN as normal but just "assumed" I was adding another thread. Either that's not working right, or Jeff has figured out how to install a mind-reading feature. Jeff's a REALLY good programmer, but I *think* that's a little TOO advanced, LOL...;)

The second part was just because there were no active threads in the forum I think.

:) Thanks...I figured that part out RIGHT after I clicked "submit" and saw this as the only ACTIVE forum thread....

P.S. Bruce Campbell ROCKS!

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

The other part is weird since subects are required.

And yes, Bruce is awesome.

I always hear all of this talk about PMs, yet I never get them. I guess I'll never be as popular as rollergator... ;)

I've often wondered from time to time, how to write good poetry- and make it all... Work.
It's been a few days and all so you might have fixed the first problem, but here's a solution to get the message. Not a fix for Jeff or anything, but if you haven't got the message yet then this might work. :)

If you go to your Inbox, right click and "View Source", then Edit > Find and enter the username of person who sent it. It'll highlight the first instance of their name on the page, and six lines above that should be something like (with a different number in place of 1908 obviously):

<a
href='/forum.aspx?mode=privatemessages&message=1908'>d</a>

Copy this bit: "forum.aspx?mode=privatemessages&message=1908" and paste it into a an Address box after http://www.coasterbuzz.com/ (remember the slash at the end).

Then again... just PM the person who sent it and ask them to resend it. ;)

Which is exactly what he did. Thanks gator for answering my question. Next time I'll just put a subject line. You're alright, no matter what Clint says ;)

Fate is the path of least resistance.

LOL....and I still can't manage to DELETE the first PM, so it ALWAYS says I have a new message (since I obviously haven't read what I cannot open)....

Can a mod just DELETE that for me, it's the only unopened message in my inbox....thanks...:)
